People find it easy to believe the "money" stories they see on the Internet.

Someone posted a video about a guy who said 48 of his horses died because they weren't feeding well or something like that.

Then someone did a brief analysis of how much it takes to own one foreign horse, the cost of feeding, the vet money, medicine and all that, stating that it was mostly impossible for someone to own up to 48 horses, not to talk of even losing that number. In reality this guy would need to have a lot of money for this to be possible.

He is a movie star, and owns a sort of village movie arena where people rent to make movies, so basically owning a lot of horse was possible. He said he had only 26 left after losing 48, and unless this guy actually has a farm where he's been breeding horses for years.

I don't think it would be impossible for him to import over 70 horses especially those breeds that are very expensive. So it's either he bought a few rare breeds and started crossing them and then his horse farm exploded, or he probably bought some other local breeds and started using them for making movies.

There's no way he's buying a horse of 20k$ and buying over 70 of them. There's another possibility, he could be in a sort of money laundering scheme.

The Internet is 90% fake

However what startled me was how a lot of people thought he was too rich and he could afford importing any rare animal he wanted.

These guys were not opening themselves up to the possibilities that they don't have all the whole facts. The man never talked about importing these horses, but a lot of his fans were already arguing that since he was very rich he could buy whatever he wants.

I think this is always the problem of social media. Last week I saw a picture of a guy who was interviewing billionaires. A lot of people thought he was just an extremely lucky guy, but it was reported that the guy doing the interview was already the 37th richest content creator of 2026.

People on the Internet believe or overrate things without actually doing their due diligence or doing their research. It's very easy to brainwash people on the Internet. If you want to sell a product to a person, all you have to do is to convince them you're a very rich person.

You can do this by posting pictures of expensive cars or pictures of yourself in luxury homes and having fun. No one tends to do their research anymore and most times fandom has replaced reality.

A lot of people kept bashing the guy who was doing analysis of how expensive rare horse breeds are, because they are probably fans of the guy who talked about the horses. This guy only simply did his analysis, and provided facts, and that was all.

I find it difficult to understand why random person on the Internet thinks money is quite easy to make. We see a lot of imaginary figures being thrown around and sometimes the people who do this are either trying to sell a product or convince people to buy something from them, maybe a course on how to become rich or something.

Making money anywhere is still hard.

We all know that making money and the reality of life is quite very difficult. I mean everyone has a life in reality and people face their respective lives.

Infact I'm one of those people who thinks rich people are not on the Internet except those whose wealth are made from show biz. So basically 80% of people scrolling through Facebook or Instagram 5 to 10 hours a day are just average people who are doing okay.

I'm an average struggling guy too, I think a lot of people are, and I wonder why average people comes together to agree that it's quite easy for anyone to claim they're rich and they all just get to believe that person without actually doing their research or due diligence.

Fandom over facts

I think it's because people have their favorite celebrities or people they follow, sometimes they just defend these people even with all their lies and flaws. Generally I think everyone owe it to themselves to do their research whenever they see something out of the ordinary.

A lot of people are depressed because of the many fake success stories they see on the Internet, and they didn't even do their research to check if these things they see is true. I mean, it's just easier to believe and then call yourself a failure.
