Rhetorics is the act of persuading, dissuading, or even swaying a person or a group of people into taking a particular course of action or changing their intent from an initial course of action. Now take a look at the world, persuasive skill is a selling point in what we call adoption. First, let's look at it in real-time. Banks, insurance companies, network providers all use diverse forms of rhetorics to drive audience to their products and services, even advertising has written, audio or visual contents.

Now the intent can be purely altruistic, at the same time it can be a facade, this is not the intent of this post, the intent is to examine how creative rhetorics often influences people's financial decisions and choices. Take a look at Facebook, what rhetorics does it sell? It sells the illusion of fun relaxation and interaction, meanwhile its ulterior motives are to use this presence to monetize people's data.

Insurance companies using futuristic rhetorics and the inability of people to predict the unknown, rather than calling it the fear appeal.

they advise you on the future with people who are naturally gifted and selling an idea and having the right knowledge to actually sell it. If you look at the world you'll see that every venture is aiming at adoption, competition is aimed at taking away customer "A" from his original cycle which be belongs to, selling him something new and advising him to see a reason why he should pick the latter above the former.

Truth is, at one point in time in our lives our choices are being determined by our needs to maximize what we have to get more value for what we want, this is why we're always open to suggestible, hence why rhetorics is often needed to align people with the paths they should always choose. Another thing is how rhetorics tends to inform.

Stats For Sale On The Internet

The world thrives on information. This means that individually, how good our output is, is frequently determinant on the amount of information we have, this is why sometimes, we're opened to people who we consider holding specific information which we do not have, to give us recommendations or details based on their professional or casual experiences.

The internet for example is filled up with people who are looking for information, Google on the other hands, feeds them both legible and illegible information, it hardly sifts, making people exposed to stats, figures and items that makes them incredulously gullible. Ponzi schemes sold due to the internet, MLM sold due to the evil rhetorics that involvements eventually makes you wealthy overnight. Most of these scams are provided a platform through centralized medias, which in turn influences people socioeconomically.

Rhetorics To What Matters

This isn't to dwell on the negatives of rhetorics. Hive, for example, is a conglomerate of individuals with 99.9% altruistic information that could change the life of a person with the right motive. I was reading a tweet some days ago about a person who's totally got the wrong idea about the concept of web 3.0. She didn't know about blockchain or decentralization, but she was weary of the kind of web 3.0 that the likes of Facebook and Twitter is promising.

Definitely you'd have noticed that this person lacks information, she has been exposed wrongly, so imagine how what she'll do with the information of a project like hive. With such a massive following on Twitter, she could be enlightened and cause a chain reaction of enlightenment to others who are basically still clueless and hoping to people who they follow and adore for insights going forward.

A Right Info In The Midst Of Many Wrong Ones

It's evident, the world needs the right rhetorics and this is often determinant on the right sources. Projects like hive are is still using centralized media to actually sell due to the fact that this is where do diverse people who are seeking for the right information are typically preyed on, on a daily basis. Then, at the same time, these centralized media also sell or advertise scams too.

Many no longer trusts the information they see online, making even real projects to get the credibility of attraction. However, each and every individual who's aiming to sell one life-changing project or the other is regularly reliant on their interactive skills. This is why it's important to see it's as a necessity to polish or invest on one's ability to sell a concept to the best of its strength.

The truth of the matter is that there are many rhetorics we find around us and the majority of times people are being fed with the wrong oratory that will be of no value to them on the verge of everything.

They tend not to acknowledge anything online due to the wrong information when one explores on the right project, inevitably, there will be a great disparity between the wrongs

I probably need to work on trying to sell a concept better but I guess that may have to wait until I actually want to sell a product.

As for insurance companies, I think they are scams but some of them are also backed by the government. You can't even drive a car legally without having driving insurance.

Well you're right, they're scams, but it makes it legal and regulatory since the government can actually earn from it and also control it as well.

Sometimes, selling crypto, I mean... Marketing it can also require some of these skills you know.

Do not get me started on insurance companies. In the USA Insurance companies is a legal form of extortion. (paying someone in case something happens is extortion)
Insurance companies use lobbyists (professional bribers) to bribe US representatives to vote in a way that benefits their companies.
That is why Auto Insurance and Medical Insurance are legal requirements in this country.
I am a 51-year-old US Citizen and US Veteran(USMC 16yrs)
The corruption in this country breaks my heart.
