The Craft Of Spending Money; Why Is It Difficult To Attain Mastery?
A lot of people talk about money without necessarily knowing how to spend it. This is because no school in the world teaches people how to spend money. The craft of spending money is like an institution, where no one attains mastery irrespective of their accomplishments in life.
In reality, people who we deem to be successful business tycoons, have even bigger regrets than people who never attained any financial accomplishment in life.
This is because, no matter how wealthy some people are, there will always be a moment in their life where the wrong choices they made prevented them from becoming even wealthier than they are.
Money & Perfection
While this seems absurd, it's the truth. Most people who are wealthy are often obsessed with perfection. They want to make money from every possible opportunity and even when ordinary people would be satisfied to be in their position, they're not because contentment is for people who haven't tasted real wealth.
Real wealth is like a drug, having a taste creates an unquenchable thirst for more and this is why we cannot seem to understand the greed of some wealthy people.
What we'll never understand is that having more money creates more greed and this is why people should hope to never reach the pinnacle of wealth. It's a position that takes one beyond human reasoning.
Humanity, Wealth & Power
There is a point in time when people can control their money, and also, it gets to a time when their money can control them.
When people are exposed to a certain degree of wealth, they lose their humanity because the power and status that comes with money are why a lot of people change negatively with each million that hits their bank account.
Nevertheless, no one can attain mastery over money and this is because we cannot correctly predict the future.
The Future & The Uncertainty That Comes With It.
The future is changing inevitably and new ways are destroying the old ways, what we might deem to be the investment of the present might just be nothing in the future. This is why the only way to truly attain mastery over money is to know the present and understand its exact impact on the future.
However, I like the fact that we're limited, a person can attain the height of wealth and power, but their mortality makes it easier for them to be checked.
This is why death and the inability to predict the future create a balance no matter the height we reach, these two human factors, will inevitably cut us down. Let us leave death and talk about the effect of not being able to predict the future. Let's talk about spending to derive value or satisfaction
Value & The Figures We Attach To It.
Sometimes a person can derive satisfaction from spending, without necessarily buying value. How do you know this? We're sentimental beings and these sentiments are often attached to the things we deem to be priorities, necessities, and even optional.
This is to say that the scale of preference of every human being is sentimental and this mostly happens due to our inability to predict what's outright value and what's purely sentimental.
We might never be able to distinguish because no one can tell what's more important to achieve when spending. There's a limit to what we should be able to achieve and this is why being flawed with money is more of a blessing than a curse.

Well, it's kind of motivating. Sometimes when we're on the brink of giving up, gread can be a motivation to continue.
Well you are right about that.. it will keep one pushing and never getting tired.
I find this a bit funny tho. But I feel it should be the other way tho. People should thrive to reach the peak of anything they are doing.
The greed part is understandable but the greed sometimes might be for a good course but from what I have observed from reading books from rich people, the greed might just be a very insignificant fraction.
This feels like both spectrums tho.
But I think most poor people let money control them.
Finally, I guess my view of wealth and yours might be different

I mean people who believe they have to work for a lot of money are letting money control them.
But when you have money work for you and you have time to spend with your family and other fun of life. Then you have control over money.
Very very valid. This is why when I see people trying to make money, I like to tell them that what does this offer in the future.
For example tech guys, will be so relevant but not all tech guys.
If the world is going towards the use of robots and you are learning robotics, you are almost sure that you will be valuable.
I guess I am trying to say that having skill is important.
One of the biggest views I have about life, is that we'd always blind sided no matter how experienced we are. This is the same with being Wealthy, one might be own everything when it comes to wealth, but character wise, there will always be questions.
It's why people who truly world's wealth have done so by doing some inhuman and questionable things. I do believe there's wealth, and there's wealth.
There's the height of Wealth a person attains, it destroys them from within. Greed is a two-edged sword, the pinnacle of wealth have only been attained by a few and this people have done things that have contradicted the limits.
The wealthy people we see and relate to, haven't even reached these heights, even their greed is mild irrespective of how impactful it was to them..
Oh no, this isn't about me being assertive, neither is it about who's more financially bouyant. It's great to have a fresh perspective to this thing. Like I say, it's my philosophy that we're all blindsided no matter our views, knowing it all would be godlike.

This is the reality, the wealth we often seek can do a lot of damage. Some wealthy people do a lot of questionable things all in the name of making money. This is probably because no matter how wealthy they are, they'll still feel the need and desire to make more money.
In reality one's mortality is more of an advantage because it keeps us in check, this is why the human is not irredeemable, when we check to see that we might later die at the end of the day, it brings a sort of check to whatever evil we might seek to become.

The possession of money can really make a man go beyond ordinary reasoning... Spending is a lifestyle same as making money but the intuition is much easier to live with when spent.
I've never had money to spend or made money of my own, I can tell you that I've been scrimping and scrounging that I've been left to ask myself if I know how to spend money but far from that is the knowledge one has to possess to do what's money wise for tomorrow...
What can I say, I think owning, too much, and not really the possession is what unsettles a certain balance when it comes to wealth and people.
