Empowering Women In The Blockchain World

Earlier, there used to be jobs that women were excluded from. For example, women were earlier believed not to be a good fit for jobs like Engineering, doctoring, etc but time has made that change.
When blockchain technology was new, it was mostly a man's world. You barely see a woman being part of a project or an investor in the project.

Not quite long, we have seen an increase in women being part of the Cryptocurrency world. Their participation helped to increase the adoption of cryptocurrency especially in places like Africa. Some men were skeptical about Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology but seeing how women are joining the new world pushed them out of their shells.

Nevertheless, the number of women participating in the Blockchain world, web3, and cryptocurrency is still small. One of the reasons is that most of them are deformed. They still think that they need to invest in them to be able to benefit from it. This wrong impression coupled with stories of cryptocurrency volatility has been a major challenge facing the increase in the number of women in the Crypto world. If women can understand that Blockchain tech has job opportunities where they need to invest money but their knowledge, they will appreciate the tech and be part of it. This will help them become financially independent.

In low-tier countries where the economy is not favorable, many women are subjected to abuse by their boyfriends and husbands because they are not financially dependent. Some of them have skills that are hotcakes in the Blockchain world but are not making good use of them.
Some students are going through tedious jobs just to fund themselves to school when they can have less demanding part-time jobs that can pay them more.

The Blockchain world needs women because other women who may be skeptical can easily be convinced if they are tutored by fellow women than men. Because men are major players in the cybercrime world, it will be difficult for women to trust them.
I have seen some Spaces organized by women to promote their inclusion in the Blockchain space and I feel they can do more.

So I urge every woman that will see this post to never give up on preaching the opportunities available On Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and Web3 to other women. Let them know that they can achieve financial independence through the Blockchain. Let them know that they do not need to struggle with demanding jobs anymore because they can work from their home through Blockchain opportunities. This allows them to take care of their families and themselves.
