This concept of mind maps for some people is something very new, especially if you listen to it in English. In any case, its author, educator Tony Buzan, coined this term back in the 70s. Tony Buzán is not the one who invented the wheel, he only named it.

The mind map is the way to represent ideas and thoughts, it has been used for centuries, and this is the way in which the human brain processes information, stores it and retrieves all information.

Este concepto de mapas mentales para algunas personas es algo muy nuevo, sobretodo si es que lo escuchas en inglés. De todas maneras su autor, el educador Tony Buzan acuñó este término allá por los años 70. Tony Buzán tampoco es quien ha inventado la rueda, solamente le colocó nombre.

El mapa mental es la forma de representar la ideas y pensamientos, se ha utilizado desde hace siglos, ya esta es la forma en la que el cerebro humano procesa la información, la almacena y recupera toda la información.

No es raro observar que los profesores, empresas, estudiantes y muchos otros utilizan estas herramientas para obtener buenos resultados. Los materiales que se necesitan son: Una hoja, y un marcador junto a un pensamiento creativo.
