RIFTWATCHERS PRE-SALE AND SHORT TERM PLANS FOR SPS, DEC, AND VOUCHERS

What are your plans for Riftwatchers? Are you Participating in the Riftwatchers Presale? What about your short term plans for SPS, Vouchers, and DEC? I'll explain my positions and plans - coming up!

We've got SO many things coming up in the Splinterlands ecosystem that it's hard to decide what to actually do. I've been debating how to position my in-game assets to maximize their value through these next few major announcements. If you haven't been active in Discord and need a quick summary of what's all coming in the next couple weeks, Aggroed's post in the Official Announcements in the Splinterlands Discord summed it all up quite well:

1. Yabamatt JUST announced the details of the PFP Runies Project in Townhall this past week.
2. Riftwatchers presale is coming up on Thursday, Sept 15th
3. SPS rewards are being airdropped to Node License holders
4. The Splinterlands Tower Defense game is releasing its presale next week
5. Genesis League Sports whitepaper was just released that explains the tokenomics of the new game!

All this to say, there's so much additional utility being added to EVERY token - there's vouchers that will be used for the new Opensea PFP project, SPS and vouchers for Riftwatchers, SPS and vouchers for node licenses, SPS staking for Genesis League Soccer, and then DEC and vouchers for the tower defense game!

Let's just say that you're like me and you have a FINITE set of resources to allocate within the game - what's the right strategy? What's the best strategy? I can't say that I have the BEST strategy, but I feel quite confident with my own plans based on my goals within the splinterlands ecosystem

My Own Plans

SO - here we go! Let me spill the beans and explain what I plan to do. I've already grabbed my bag of SPS for the Riftwatchers Presale. I brought in some more fiat into the game, but mostly converted my HIVE and DEC into SPS tokens. I'm fairly confident that in the very near term, SPS will have upward pressure with potential whale movements to drive up the price of SPS right before the Riftwatchers presale. The Riftwatchers presale has the highest upside vs. the general sale, so I'm expecting a LOT of activity for the presale, and then a slow down during the general sale. The only risk in participating in the presale is if SPS prices continue to trend up between the pre-sale and the general sale. If that's the case, the general sale will, in a sense, cost less than the presale packs.

I've also grabbed the vouchers I need for specifically 1000 Riftwatchers packs. I chose this number because of the guaranteed Gold Foil, as well as the fun Title that comes with 1000 packs! My plan is to participate in the presale with a bulk-buy from a few members from my guild to ensure the 20% bonus for buying 2000 packs, but buying the minimum 1000 packs to maximize airdrop efficiency.

Once the presale starts, my first priority is to buy the presale packs I need. My next priority is to immediately buy as many Node Licenses as I can with leftover SPS and vouchers - this is like one or two. From there, I'll likely swap my remaining SPS and vouchers for DEC.
Why is this my plan? I think that most people have bought SPS and vouchers in the near term to get ready for the Riftwatchers presale. Once the presale is over, I feel like there will be slow sell pressure on SPS until "the next big thing", which is an actual release of the Genesis League Soccer game.

I think DEC is an excellent stablecoin, where it sees significant support at its current levels around 0.0006$, and generally has more and more buy pressure to get up to its peg of .001$. This also helps position me for the Tower Defense presale coming up in a week!

Lastly - vouchers. Vouchers always see a spike, and then settles down some. There still does not seem to be ongoing utility for vouchers. As long as voucher utility is event based, rather than hold vouchers, I prefer to sell during an upswing. While I think more and more utility IS being given to vouchers, I still think that the 40K vouchers per day airdropped will continue to have a downward sell pressure on the market.

To recap - my plan is to buy my minimum 1000 Riftwatchers packs with the 20% bonus, buy one or two nodes, then immediately convert all my remaining vouchers and SPS to DEC!

I say all this now, but obviously this is contingent on what actually happens to these tokens over the course of Thursday! Tokens may or may not follow the trend I am expecting, and my plans may change! If I could predict the future, I'd already be a whale!

All of this is obviously NOT financial advice! I'm simply sharing my own plans in hopes that it can help shed light into some considerations that you may or may not have already thought about! My goal is to maximize efficiency of my Splinterlands assets, but also elevate my level of play in the game because I think it's a ton of fun!
