One of the tourist spots in the city of Pedro Velho - RN is the famous Pau Grande, samaumeira, a typical tree from the Amazon region, but which grew in the Northeast region. For local residents it is considered the largest tree in the region, but in reality it is one of the largest trees in RN, it takes more than 30 people to hug its trunk and its height is about 65m.

Para os moradores locais é considerada a maior árvore da região, mas na realidade é uma das maiores árvores do RN, são necessárias mais de 30 pessoas para abraçar seu tronco e sua altura é de cerca de 65m.

Talking to historians in the region, i discovered that there are several legends behind these great tree, including the legend of the hidden jar of gold. So, would you like to visit and try to find this jar? I visited and unfortunately I didn't find it. :(

Conversando com historiadores da região, descobri que existem várias lendas por trás dessa grande árvore, incluindo a lenda do jarro de ouro escondido. Então, você gostaria de visitar e tentar encontrar este frasco? Visitei e infelizmente não encontrei. :(
