Legalmente: La odisea ha terminado (Esp-Eng)

Hola chicos ¿qué tal?

En mi publicación anterior les conté un poco sobre algunos tramites Migratorios que estuve realizando junto a mi familia y bueno, luego de tantos años y esfuerzos al fin pudimos sacar la cédula mis hijas pequeñas y yo en este mes que pasó de Marzo.

Hay una nueva modalidad y es que ya no tenía que viajar tan lejos a una de las ciudades principales del país, para sacar la cédula por ser extranjeros, ahora resulta que podemos hacerlo en los registros civiles de cada ciudad, el de nuestra ciudad nos queda lejos, pero aun así podemos ir en bus o taxi. Así que fuimos todos hasta el registro para ver como era el proceso, ya que algunos amigos Venezolanos nos habían contado con queja que les había ido mal y que incluso tuvieron que asistir varias veces. Así que bueno, nos tocó y ir y vivir nuestra propia experiencia, para esto decidimos ir un día en la tarde para que así hubiera menos cantidad de personas.

In my previous post I told you a little bit about some immigration procedures that I was doing with my family and well, after so many years and efforts we were finally able to get my little daughters and me the cédula this past month of March.

There is a new modality and it is that I no longer had to travel so far to one of the main cities of the country, to get the ID card for being foreigners, now it turns out that we can do it in the civil registries of each city, the one in our city is far away, but we can still go by bus or cab. So we all went to the registry to see how the process was, as some Venezuelan friends had told us with complaints that it had gone badly and that they even had to go several times. So well, it was our turn to go and live our own experience, for this we decided to go one day in the afternoon so there would be less people.

Al llegar al sitio, para sorpresa nuestra l atención fue muy buena y nos enviaron a pagar, ya que la cédula tiene un costo e inmediatamente nos entregaron nuestro turno. La primera en pasar fue Amelie, a ella la acompañó mi esposa en la taquilla, mientras nosotros permaneciamos en la sala de espera. La atención fue buena, aun cuando la gestora no quería tramitar cédulas "por primera vez" como era nuestro caso, ya que ella decía que la estresaba tanto papeleo, sin embargo siempre fue sonriente y educada. Luego de Amelie, nos enviaron a reagendar los turnos famtantes, el mio y de mi hija mayor, Ammy, porque según ellos se nos pasó el turno, pero en realidad nunca salieron y allí fue cuando la espera comenzó.

Luego de esperar casi una hora, llegaron mis suegros a ayudar con los niños y Ammy y yo pasamos a taquilla, el proceso fue rápido. Y la única novedad era que nos entregarían las cédulas el primero de Abril, así que ese día fui a retirar las cédulas de los 3 sin ningún inconveniente y mucho más rápido. Legalmente estamos bien y tranquilos, este logro fue realmente un sueño hecho realidad chicos y por ello quise compartirlo y recordarlo en el tiempo.

When we arrived at the site, to our surprise, the attention was very good and we were sent to pay, since the ID card has a cost and immediately we were given our turn. The first one to pass was Amelie, she was accompanied by my wife at the ticket office, while we remained in the waiting room. The attention was good, even though the manager did not want to process IDs "for the first time" as was our case, since she said that she was stressed by so much paperwork, however she was always smiling and polite. After Amelie, they sent us to reschedule our appointments, mine and my oldest daughter Ammy's, because according to them we missed our turn, but in reality they never came out and that's when the wait began.

After waiting for almost an hour, my in-laws arrived to help with the kids and Ammy and I went to the ticket office, the process was quick. And the only news was that they would give us the ID cards on April 1st, so that day I went to pick up the ID cards of the 3 of us without any inconvenience and much faster. Legally we are well and calm, this achievement was really a dream come true guys and that is why I wanted to share it and remember it in time.
