after a week of playing this game I am going to become a weapons expert or I am going to go crazy.
You probably saw at first glance the image and thought it was a mess of unpacked weapon parts, basically it is that, but let me explain how I ended up playing a game that is all about learning weapon information, whether you can learn from how to disassemble to things about the history of those weapons, plus obviously you are going to learn many different types of weapons, not just the typical ones you see in shooter games, this is very specific, like where the weapons are from to how they are composed. I'm not an expert army armorer so I'm not sure if each weapon exists or if they are composed as seen in the game, since it's a free game that I found randomly, but from what I've seen I think they are real things.
Let's start by explaining the tutorial.
The tutorial of the game starts with this very basic gun called Remington Derringer or Remington Model 95, being with this last name with it you can google it, that talking about this gun the game teaches us what a part of the game is about and I think the most interesting thing, which would be the assembly and disassembly, this last task is divided into two parts, which would be the basic and complete disassembly, don in the first shows us very superficial things such as would be the handle of the gun and the barrel, but the complete disassembly is much deeper, since all the screws and all parts of the mechanism are removed.
Seeing this weapon a little older we can deduce that it does not have as many parts as a current weapon would have, as we can see that this one had simply 23 pieces, which to be the tutorial are very well, since the game explains very well how the controls and specifications go, until here I would say that the problem is that the game looks very bad, some animations or textures are very weird, but that is compensated with other things, with this completed theme let's go to my first easy challenge.
I thought it was easy.
For this moment I had put a background a little blue and a little like a universe, this I put it to see if it made contrast with the pieces which I thought would be seen more, but this did not work, then in a while you do not understand very well where each piece comes out, but neither is to explain where each spring comes from, so I will go showing a little what I played, as well as the time when I had the task of disassembling this Colt M19, weapon which is of the current era, which has 8 parts in the basic disassembly and 49 in the complete disassembly.
The missions to follow with each weapon are the same, first they explain you how is the basic disarmament and how to assemble it, then the complete disarmament and how to assemble it, then you have several challenges of time or precision, which try to assemble it with accuracy, without having to touch any part that is not the correct one, since the disarmament of a weapon or of the mechanism of the same, consists of always remove the magazine first and then go taking out the outside parts to then remove the inside, then if you try to remove a piece that is held from another that you have not removed before you will lose the challenge, you can continue playing, but you will not complete this achievement, but as I was focused on completing 100% each weapon I had to start every time I failed.
This challenge which I just told you about in my opinion was very complicated, I tried to complete it at night when I was tired, but I think my biggest difficulty was in my memory, I didn't remember the small pieces very much.
The good thing happened when I woke up the next day focused on completing this challenge and I did it very well, I had even changed the background much better than the previous one, this one allowed me to see all the pieces much better, I had never reached the assembly part, which was also with precision, in this case if you try to assemble a piece that depends on another that you have not previously assembled this is a failure and you can no longer complete the challenge of precision.
In the end I was able to complete both modes of this gun, in a good amount of time, I didn't feel like trying to make it faster or anything, I simply just settled for that time which was two minutes in each mode, in total I did 4 minutes in disassembling and assembling this very beautiful Colt M19.
After completing this you are unlocked the possibilities to see how the gun works by looking at it with x-rays, it looks just great.
After seeing so much about this gun I had grown tired of assembling and disassembling so kept looking for other possibilities of things to do. Thus finding many interesting things, like this super strange weapon.
It's too weird, I wish I could disarm it, but it costs credits which is like in-game currency and I don't know how you get them, but I had also managed to get another gun which is the next challenge after the Colt, being a cool Mp5.
But don't even try to disassemble it, I'll leave that for the next post of this very funny and interesting game.
Thank you very much for reading this post about guns.
