A Disappointment I Didn't Expect
Greetings members of the ecency community, you're all welcome to my blog.
It's been a while since I posted something in this great community.
This evening, I want to share my today's experience with you all. I plead with you to go through it thoroughly.
So today, I woke up very early to do my morning chores as usual. It's been a while I woke up so early like that.
Before I slept last night, I had a plan that I will be going to our permanent site to see my project supervisor. So after I was done w youith everything I needed to do, I boarded a taxi to annex.
Then when I reached there, I had to enter the school bus that will take me straight to permsite.
I reached permanent site successfully, so I sat at my friend's shop,while waiting for my supervisor to arrive.
So, finally, he arrived and I waiting outside so he could sit comfortable for a while before I enter. So few minutes later, I enter his office,and greeted him,and he responded very well.
He asked me why I was in his office,and I told him I came to get the chapter one of my project so that I can proceed to chapter two.
Surprisingly, he told me he didn't even look at all the works that was submitted last week to him. He said he will do that by weekend.
You can imagine how frustrated I was listening to him. I thought before now, he had read through the work and do some necessary corrections,but no.
I wasn't happy about the whole thing. That is because I had to leave the class I was supposed to attend,and go to his office.
The rate of laziness most of our supervisors are exhibiting these days, is alarming.It's high time our lecturers and teachers take us serious as student.
I understand that they have so many things to do,but then,they should try as much as possible to protect the interest of the students,and not to make them look inferior.
Students safety and happiness should be their major priority. I don't know about other countries,but here in Nigeria where I'm from, students are suffering. Our opinions doesn't matter anymore.
They don't care about how we feel,even if we want to die. I nearly fainted because of today's stress,and it's not good for my health. Good health is what every students deserve because if a student is sick,it would affect his or her performance in the school.
So I'm pleading with all our lecturers and project supervisors to take proper care of all their supervisees.
This is how my day went,but I know tomorrow will be better,as he has assured me to come back to his office on Monday morning. So, I will have to wait till Monday.
So that's how my day was like. I know you've also experience something similar to this,or something far more better than this.
