How much money will give you financial fulfillment?

Everyone wants to make money. But how much money will make you fulfilled differs from person to person. When I was younger, I had a figure in my mind but as I grew older, I realized that I keep changing my figures majorly because of the kind of economy I find myself in and the depreciating nature of my currency too.

My first job paid me somewhat felt like a lot of money in my head. But when I started receiving that amount of money, I realized that before the month ran out, I had exhausted the money and even gone into debt too. Those days weren't really to hard as it is now. If it was now, I wouldn't dare take that kind of amount for the job I was doing because it won't even be enough for me for two days not to talk of a whole 30 days.

My spending increased likewise my needs too. I heard from a podcast sometime ago that as your income increases, so does your needs too. Those words didn't make sense to me until recently when I started spending on a daily basis for things that really needed to be sorted out. I can tell you that I want more money now and that's why I have delved into having multiple streams of income.

For a lot of persons, it is with so much struggle that they can afford a decent meal. While for others, they find it very easy to eat whatever they want to eat, whenever and wherever. I cannot particular say a particular amount of money brings fulfillment to anyone but I can say that if you can cater for some certain needs then you may say that you are fulfilled.

If you can take care of your feeding, clothing and shelter, then you are living a fulfilled life. This is so because these are the basic needs of everyone. Every other thing comes after that. One thing that I have noticed too is that people care more about material things and neglect their health.

Medications can be expensive if we don't also take care of our health early enough. So I will add this to the list of things too.

Every other thing can be managed easily or even cut off for the main time if the resources aren't available to purchase them at the moment. However, while some people can manage with whatever income they get others may find a reason to work harder to increase the income they get. This is generally an issue because for me, I think that big money, big spending. But that doesn't mean that aiming for an increase is a taboo.

Financial Fulfilment for me is the ability to be able to cater for first my basic needs. This perception may differ from persons to persons based on what income they receive. If you sit down and think of how you spend, you will notice that sometimes you spend more than you should and if you discipline yourself enough to save some money that comes into your hands, I think at the end of the day, you will be happy with yourself.

So many people spend not because it is really important but because they just want to do it. For instance if I have a very good phone, why do I need to keep buying brands of phones all the time when all I do with the one I have is just to make and receive calls. You have to spend money widely if you want to be fulfilled financially.

Financial fulfillment is 100% possible. There is no particular amount of money that can make you financially fulfilled. Just spend according to your income and cut down on unnecessary expenses. That way you can be happy with yourself. What truly matters is your peaceful and happy life.

It is best to get paid for something you enjoy doing. It feels less like work.

I love this perception. That way you don't even notice if you are stressing much because you love what you are doing.

Thank you for your contribution❤

most people underestimate the value of their work, in case they stuck in the system, believe that's the reality, and think 'money is real', not just a tool to keep them enslaved, under control.

for me, it's not about an amount, it is more about: 1., I am never going to work for an organization, group of people, or even for a single person. If I do, work something, I do it for myself.
2., Don't get legally robbed daily. 3., Finance the standard of living what i think normal, everybody should, could have that level.

As the hole money system, generally the system is a fraud in my eyes, telling a number in a currency, it will look insane, and average people say, I am insane. Simply because they can't recognize the value of themselves, and that the system built in that way, average people from any kind of 'work for someone' job simply can't get out of their circle, as the system owners like modern slaveowners, they profit from your work. The only work they have done: keep an eye on the system, what their anchestors built. And look how good they live from that...

probably you know silly sayings like: Hard work pays off. Etc. 99,99% of people are facing with a totally opposite case, and they wonder why... :) :) :)

I completely agree with you that financial fulfillment is subjective and varies from person to person. It's important to focus on our basic needs first and then prioritize our spending accordingly.

The definition of our financial fulfillment always changes as we get older

This makes me remember one tweet I saw, the guy was like, is it this same salary I'm earning my colleagues are using to take care of their large families? Because it was barely enough for him as a single guy.

Like you've mentioned, I feel fulfilled being able to cater for my basic needs, I don't take that for granted. With bigger money comes bigger expenses and I don't know for sure if I'd ever feel satisfied no matter how many millions I have, there's always the desire to have more. So, I'm just fine taking care of my needs and saving some for the future.
