My baby is finally here// Mi bebé finalmente está aquí (ENG-ESP)

I am screaming out of excitement right now. My heart is filled with so much joy. Whenever you see me, just please add the "latest aunty" to my title. God has blessed me with a beautiful niece after waiting for so long.

My baby sister has officially become a mother. I can now rest from all the calls and even the late night calls. This pregnancy really did wonders to my sister. Whenever she called me,I knew it was to complain of something. It was either waist pain, or heartburn or swollen legs. I would always pray and encourage her to hang on. I have been there before so I knew exactly how she was feeling at that time.

Mi hermanita se ha convertido oficialmente en madre. Ahora puedo descansar de todas las llamadas e incluso de las llamadas nocturnas. Este embarazo realmente le hizo maravillas a mi hermana. Siempre que me llamaba, sabía que era para quejarse de algo. Era dolor de cintura, acidez estomacal o piernas hinchadas. Siempre rezaba y la animaba a aguantar. He estado allí antes, así que sabía exactamente cómo se sentía en ese momento.

When she passed her due date, it felt like her world was crumbling. She became worried again. I remember telling her one day that the EDD( Estimated date of delivery) was just an estimation and that it did not mean that the child will come exactly on the EDD.

Cuando pasó su fecha de parto, sintió que su mundo se estaba desmoronando. Se volvió a preocupar. Recuerdo haberle dicho un día que el EDD (Fecha estimada de parto) era solo una estimación y que no significaba que el niño nacería exactamente en el EDD.

Yesterday she called me to say that her water had broken. We rushed to the hospital at around 11am. The doctors examined her and told her she was already dilating. Everyone started praying and hoping that our little one will be here in no time.
She was in labour from that 11am till about 8pm. Her dilation was slow. When the doctor came again to check her, he immediately told the nurses to get her ready for a caesarian section. The doctor said the child was becoming weak and that it was safe to do a CS. He also added that she had preclampsia so it was wise to do the emergency CS.

Ayer me llamó para decirme que había roto fuente. Corrimos al hospital alrededor de las 11 am. Los médicos la examinaron y le dijeron que ya se estaba dilatando. Todos comenzaron a rezar y esperar que nuestro pequeño estuviera aquí en poco tiempo. Estuvo de parto desde las 11 a.m. hasta las 8 p.m. Su dilatación era lenta. Cuando el médico volvió a revisarla, inmediatamente les dijo a las enfermeras que la prepararan para una cesárea. El médico dijo que el niño se estaba debilitando y que era seguro hacerle una cesárea. También agregó que tenía preclampsia, por lo que era prudente hacerle una cesárea de emergencia.

She was dressed for the operation and I was scared. My lips began to ask God for mercy and His grace too. The operation lasted for 2hours and then our little cutie arrived. Oh my world!. Seeing her gave me so much joy. Finally my baby sister will be free from the pregnancy symptoms and my phone will rest too from all of her calls. When a woman enters the labour room, it is a life and death situation and it takes only the Grace of God to have mother and child come out alive.

Estaba vestida para la operación y yo estaba asustado. Mis labios comenzaron a pedirle a Dios misericordia y Su gracia también. La operación duró 2 horas y luego llegó nuestra pequeña monada. ¡Ay mi mundo!. Verla me dio mucha alegría. Finalmente, mi hermanita estará libre de los síntomas del embarazo y mi teléfono también descansará de todas sus llamadas. Cuando una mujer entra a la sala de parto, es una situación de vida o muerte y solo se necesita la Gracia de Dios para que la madre y el niño salgan vivos.

And so we are thankful for God's grace. Both mother and child are healthy and very much strong. My niece is so calm and beautiful. I couldn't resist holding her little fingers too.

Y así estamos agradecidos por la gracia de Dios. Tanto la madre como el niño están sanos y muy fuertes. Mi sobrina es tan tranquila y hermosa. No pude resistirme a sostener sus pequeños dedos también.

She smiled while she took a pose for the camera. I am glad I have that memory and will cherish it forever.
Congratulations to my baby sister and of course to me too,the latest aunty in town. Friends, please say a prayer for my niece.
