Si yo quisiera contarles
lo que quieren escuchar
pues les voy a presentar
mi biografía compadre
no sé si el perro ladre
o le moleste el montón
pero tengo un corazón
muy lleno de algarabía
no me importa si hay comía
lo que importa es el amor.

Yo he nacido como ustedes
de ese gran vientre materno
pero mi Dios es eterno
ese que todo lo puede
no sé qué dicen ustedes
si tengo o no devoción
pero si falla el amor
no tengo qué discutir
porque para el convivir
nuestro amor es la razón.

Nací en un barrio pequeño
y eso me importa muy poco
porque nunca falta un loco
que intente cumplir su sueño
su logro será su empeño
en alcanzar su futuro
porque trabajando duro
nadie habrá que lo detenga
ni nadie quien lo mantenga
hasta volverse maduro.

my biography, my friend.
I don't know if the dog barks
or if the crowd bothers him,
but I have a heart
full of joy.
I don't care if there's food;
what matters is love.

I was born like you
from that great maternal womb,
but my God is eternal,
the one who can do all things.
I don't know what you say
if I have devotion or not,
but if love fails,
I have nothing to argue about,
because for living together,
our love is the reason.

I was born in a small neighborhood,
and that matters very little to me,
because there's never a shortage of a dreamer
trying to fulfill his dream.
His achievement will be his determination
to reach his future,
because by working hard,
no one will be able to stop him,
nor anyone who will support him
until he grows up.
