[Animation review] [Eng | Esp] Helluva Boss | Hell is a source of comedy
Welcome dear internet travelers residents of the hell and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, several years ago I saw an interesting animation on Youtube which I found pleasant even though it was only a pilot; however, wandering around the site a few days ago I learned that its first season had already been released and had begun to broadcast the second. The animation I'm talking about is 'Helluva Boss' with a hellish theme that combines perfectly with the adult tone of it. Without further ado, get ready to go through some circles of hell that we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet residentes del averno y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, hace varios años vi una animación en Youtube interesante la cual me pareció agradable pese a que solo era un piloto; sin embargo, vagando hace unos días por el sitio me entere de que ya había sido estrenada su primera temporada y había comenzado a emitir la segunda. De la animación que estoy hablando es de "Helluva Boss" con una temática infernal que combina perfecto con el tono adulto de la misma. Sin más que agregar prepárense para recorrer algunos círculos del infierno que estamos por comenzar.
Helluva Boss is an animated web series released in 2020, created by Vivienne Medrano and produced by SpindleHorse Toons, has 2 seasons and 9 episodes of a duration of between 11 to 22 minutes. It is a story of black humor and comedy for adults, focuses on the imp called Blitz which proposes the creation of a business in hell that gives the opportunity to its residents to request the murder of a human being, to achieve his mission he will have the help of Moxxie, the wife of Moxxie, Millie and her adopted daughter, Loona with whom she will constantly visit the world of humans to fulfill their murder contracts.
Helluva Boss es una serie web animada estrenada en 2020, creada por Vivienne Medrano y producida por SpindleHorse Toons, tiene 2 temporadas y 9 capítulos de una duración de entre 11 a 22 minutos. Es una historia de humor negro y comedia para adultos, se centra en el diablillo llamado Blitz el cual se propone la creación de un negocio en el infierno que le da la oportunidad a sus residentes de solicitar el asesinato de un ser humano, para lograr su cometido tendrá la ayuda de Moxxie, la esposa de Moxxie, Millie y su hija adoptiva, Loona con los cuales visitara constantemente el mundo de los humanos para cumplir con sus contratos de asesinato.

Almost in all the chapters there is a musical theme that is focused on the theme of the episode, these have a good rhythm and give a certain dynamism to the chapter; in turn, they have enough duration to imply the message and not reach the point of being annoying. Apart from the characteristic themes that some episodes present, the soundtrack in general is very pleasant even when there is no lyrics and it is simply instrumental.
Casi en todos los capítulos existe un tema musical que se encuentre centrada en el tema del episodio, estas tienen un buen ritmo y le dan cierto dinamismo al capítulo; a su vez, posen la duración suficiente como para dar a entender el mensaje y no llegar al punto de ser molesto. Fuera de los temas característicos que presentan algunos episodios, la banda sonora en general es muy agradable incluso cuando no hay letra y sencillamente es instrumental.
I like the animation style, it is a perfect combination of fluidity and pleasant colors; I have to highlight the fact that you notice the difference when you are in hell, and, when you are in the human world, again due to the correct use of colors to characterize each scenario.
Me gusta el estilo de animación, es una combinación perfecta entre fluidez y colores agradables; he de destacar el hecho de que se note la diferencia cuando se encuentran en el infierno, y, cuando están en el mundo humano, nuevamente debido al correcto uso de los colores para caracterizar cada escenario.
As I mentioned previously, the plot changes from hell to the human world according to the focus of the episode, with hell being much more interesting because of the different strange things it houses that go from its creatures to the structures. On the other hand, the human world is not so attractive, since it does not expose anything that really makes it attractive, it is only flat and does not pose anything that can be minimally interesting other than being a scenario to murder and make blood flow.
Como mencione previamente, la trama va cambiando del infierno al mundo humano según el enfoque del episodio, siendo el infierno mucho más interesante por las diferentes cosas raras que alberga que van desde sus criaturas hasta las estructuras. Por otro lado, el mundo humano no resulta tan atractivo, puesto que no expone nada que realmente lo haga atrayente, solamente es plano y no plantea ninguna cosa que pueda ser mínimamente interesante más que ser un escenario para asesinar y hacer correr sangre.
The narrative in general is simple, each chapter has its own objective and problem that is resolved throughout the duration of it, each episode is loaded with sexual jokes, black humor and blood in droves, which result in an extremely pleasant adult comedy. Although I mention that the problems of each chapter were results before it ended, in some cases, small things are left that are taken up in the future or that could be taken up; this gives it a minimum touch of complexity so that not everything is only brainless comedy.
La narrativa en general es sencilla, cada capítulo tiene su propio objetivo y problemática que es resuelta a lo largo de la duración del mismo, cada episodio viene cargado de bromas sexuales, humor negro y sangre por montones, que resultan en una comedia para adultos sumamente agradable. Si bien mencione que las problemáticas de cada capítulo eran resulta antes de que este finalizase, en algunos casos, se dejan pequeñas cosas que son retomadas en un futuro o que podrían ser retomadas; esto le da un mínimo toque de complejidad para que no todo sea únicamente comedia descerebrada.
The characters are pleasant, in the short duration it has, it tries to dedicate some time to the main characters to be able to detail their relationships and personalities a little more, even showing something from someone's past to give context about their relationship or reasons for their behavior. It would be impossible to ask for a development of these in so few chapters but it can be noted that some did have small advances with the relations between them or laying the foundations for an evolution in the future.
Los personajes son agradables, en la poca duración que tiene trata de dedicarles algo de tiempo a los personajes principales para poder detallar un poco más sus relaciones y personalidades, llegando incluso a mostrar algo del pasado de alguno para dar contexto sobre su relación o razones para su comportamiento. Sería imposible pedir un desarrollo de estos en tan pocos capítulos pero si se puede destacar que algunos si tuvieron pequeños avances con las relaciones entre estos o sentando las bases para una evolución en un futuro.
Helluva Boss is a pleasant animation, it fulfills its mission of making fun for the different situations it raises, it could be said that it sins of simplistic because it is really not too innovative in many aspects, and, it would be a valid argument but it is more an animation that is more designed to laugh and not to pose a highly complex narrative. That is why it deserves a rating of 2.5 stars out of 7, something recommended to hang out, stop thinking and let out one laugh or another.
Helluva Boss es una animación agradable, cumple su cometido de hacer gracia por las diferentes situaciones que plantea, podría decirse que peca de simplista debido a que realmente no es demasiado innovadora en muchos aspectos, y, sería un argumento válido pero es más una animación que está más pensada para reírse y no para plantear una narrativa altamente compleja. Por ello merece una calificación de 2,5 estrellas de 7, algo recomendado para pasar el rato, dejar de pensar y soltar una que otra carcajada.

Es una serie que ciertamente ha sido muy receptiva al publico, una comedia con altos tonos de humor que llegan a rozar en lo obseno junto a una fuerte justificaion de ser demonios y como utilizaron dicho concepto para rear esto, me gusta mucho y no solo termina hay tambien tiene un trasfondo interesante por parte de los personajes prinipales que te hace querer saber mas y relacionarte con ellos, empatia y curiosidad por demonios quien lo diria, buena resena y gracias por compartir.
En efecto, es comedia y humor negro en su máxima expresión. Tocas un tema interesante, si bien si le da cierto foque a los personajes no creó que vaya a intentar darles tridimensionalidad ni algo complejo por el estilo, a lo más que intuyo que llegara será a darles una buena caracterización, y, siendo sinceros, para la premisa que tiene la serie esto es todo lo que necesitan.
