[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Fist Fight
Welcome dear masters travelers of the internet and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, the other day I was on tiktok (Yes, I am in that spiral of decadence) and I saw a small fragment of a movie that honestly caused me a lot of grace so I proceeded to look for it to see it, the tape in question is called "Fist Fight" a film that from the go makes it clear that it will be loaded with comedy, Vulgarities and absurd things galore. Just get ready it's the last day of school and the students will go crazy.
Bienvenidos queridos maestros viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, el otro día estaba en tiktok (Sí, estoy en ese espiral de decadencia) y vi un pequeño fragmento de una película que sinceramente me causó mucha gracia por lo que procedí a buscarla para verla, la cinta en cuestión se llama "Fist Fight" una película que desde el vamos deja claro que estará cargada de comedia, vulgaridades y cosas absurdas a por montones. Sin más que agregar prepárense que es el último día de clases y los estudiantes se volverán locos.
Fist Fight was released in 2017, directed by Richie Keen and produced by New Line Cinema, has a duration of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It is a comedy story, it focuses on Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) a teacher who teaches in a school where students are completely undisciplined and wild, being that logically these uncontrolled students do not respect the authority figures of the institution; that terrible environment will be worse when Andy's job is in danger due to staff cuts and he has a problem with the most aggressive teacher in the whole school, which will lead to a normal day becoming one with many problems and inconveniences.

Es una historia de comedia, se enfoca a Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) un profesor que enseña en un colegio en donde los estudiantes son completamente indisciplinados y salvajes, siendo que lógicamente estos alumnos descontrolados no respetan a las figuras de autoridad de la institución; ese ambiente tan terrible estará peor cuando el empleo de Andy corra peligro por recorte de personal y que tenga un inconveniente con el profesor más agresivo de toda la escuela, lo que le llevara a que un día normal se convierta en uno con muchos problemas e inconvenientes.

The soundtrack is nice, it is what you can expect for this type of absurd films, resulting in something that mostly accompanies the comedy, being an element that adapts to the plot, does not give a wonderful context but still fulfills its mission.
La banda sonora es agradable, es lo que puedes esperar para este tipo de filmes absurdos, resultando en algo que acompaña mayormente la comedia, siendo un elemento que se adapta a la trama, no da un contexto maravilloso pero de igual forma cumple con su cometido.
The construction of the world is very funny, it creates an interesting school context since crazy students who do what they want find themselves in droves, with hilarious situations caused by the students themselves. In general, the setting seeks to capture the fact that the school is upside down due to immoralities committed by both students and teachers, being an atmosphere that serves as an excellent way to give a good scenario so that the message that gives the plot feels agreed.
La construcción de mundo es muy graciosa, crea un contexto escolar interesante puesto que los estudiantes locos que hacen lo que quieren se encuentran a montones, con situaciones hilarantes causadas por los mismos alumnos. En general la ambientación busca plasmar el hecho de que la escuela se encuentra de cabeza debido a inmoralidades que cometen tanto estudiantes como maestros, siendo una ambientación que sirve de excelente forma para dar un buen escenario para que el mensaje que da la trama se sienta acordé.
The plot handles a simple premise, the above is because at all times it is dedicated to comedy with many violent jokes, with sexual allegories or drugs, it is simple comedy but it is pleasant. Apart from the different funny moments there is another element that makes the plot interesting, in a subtle way the mistreatment received by the teachers is focused, being that it makes a satire with that element; It takes it a bit to the point of exaggeration but that is also a success because it does not feel like a direct sermon about the poor life of teachers but from a more humorous point of view.
La trama maneja una premisa sencilla, lo anterior se debe a que en todo momento se dedica a la comedia con muchos chistes violentos, con alegorías sexuales o a las drogas, es comedia simple pero resulta agradable. Aparte de los diferentes momentos graciosos existe otro elemento que hace interesante a la trama, de forma sutil se enfoca el maltrato que reciben los maestros, siendo que hace una sátira con dicho elemento; lo lleva un poco al punto de la exageración pero eso también es un acierto debido a que no se sienta como un sermón directo sobre la pobre vida de los maestros sino desde un punto de vista más humorístico.
The characters are charismatic, from the main to the secondary all feel nice, there is no deepening in any and that is fine, because its plot is simple and it would be strange if it had some super complex characters, for the subject that the film deals with they are very concordant, simple but chord.
Los personajes son carismáticos, desde los principales hasta los secundarios todos se sienten agradables, no existe profundización en ninguno y eso está bien, debido a que su trama es sencilla y quedaría extraño que tuviese a unos personajes super complejos, para el tema que trata la película se encuentran muy concordantes, simples pero acordes.
Fist Fight is in its entirety something absurd and funny in all its aspects, it is a comedy for adults that incurs in all those prohibitions that usually exist within a school, being that although it hyperbolizes some problems that teachers usually have this does not eliminate the message that handles that jokingly exemplifies plausible situations within the educational field. It is for all this that it deserves a rating of 3.5 out of 7, an unmissable appointment both to reflect on truthful problems and to get a good laugh.
Fist Fight es en su totalidad algo absurdo y gracioso en todos sus aspectos, es una comedia para adultos que incurre en todas aquellas prohibiciones que suelen haber dentro de una escuela, siendo que pese a que hiperboliza algunos problemas que suelen tener los profesores esto no elimina el mensaje que maneja que ejemplifica de forma jocosa situaciones plausibles dentro del ámbito educacional. Es por todo esto que se merece una calificación de 3.5 de 7, una cita imperdible tanto para reflexionar sobre problemas veraces como para sacarse unas buenas carcajadas.
