LA PRIMERA VISITA.[ESP][ENG].
Luego de esos anhelados 60 días, llegó el momento, ya era oficial, estaba de vacaciones. Tenía tanta curiosidad, una ciudad con una inmensa cantidad de teatros, cines, centros comerciales, playas, exposiciones, monumentos, en fin, tenía un buen abanico de opciones a mi disposición.
Tenía que seleccionar los que más deseaba conocer, tuve que ajustar mi interés con mis finanzas, así que toma la iniciativa de conocer uno de los sitios emblemáticos de Río de Janeiro como es el cristo redentor o cristo de corcovado.
Debido a mi libertad de horarios, obviamente por estar de vacaciones, decidí hacer esta visita en un día semana, así podría estar con menos visitantes y sería más tranquila la estadía, poder disfrutar a voluntad del lugar.
Hice un viaje cerca de 1 hora desde mi lugar de residencia hasta donde sé encuentra el conocido monumento, un día buen sol y con cielo despejado es lo único necesario para disfrutar de una de las maravillas del mundo.
Llegue temprano, debido a que no tenía muchos visitantes entre semana, no fue necesario comprar por Internet ni hacer reservas, compre directo en la taquilla, espero unos minutos a que llegara el tren y comenzó el recorrido. Existe una ruta en camioneta, pero era mi primera visita, así que decidí tomar el tren.
Fui muy bien atendido por el personal y la vista que se puede apreciar durante el movimiento del tren al subir por la montaña es fenomenal. Valió la pena escoger el tren.
Solo unos minutos tarde en llegar a la cima de la montaña, el sol radiante en su mayor expresión, días de verano, el cielo sin nubes y yo allí con total emoción.
Por años estuve escuchando sobre por televisión como una de las maravillas del mundo, uno de los monumentos más famosos, referencia turística del país y claro está icono de la ciudad de Río.
Una energía tremenda ya la podía sentir solo subiendo las escaleras e ir acercándome a final de la cima donde está ubicado el cristo.
No sabía a donde debía fijar mi atención, pude observar todo el centro de Río y sus alrededores, las conocidas así como bellas playas, el fuerte militar, las embarcaciones comerciales y particulares, todas esas personas de diferentes países, nunca había escuchado tantos idiomas a la vez.
Continúe mi ascenso hasta que llegue al final y allí estaba, la figura del cristo, magnífica.
Por unos minutos, dedique una mirada continua de admiración ante una obra tan espléndida, así como admiración hacia mí, por tomar decisiones que llevan a momentos como ese, satisfacción absoluta. El nivel de gozo por estar allí es inexplicable.

No sé cuanto tiempo pase allí, disfrute de la vista desde todos los lugares posible, además de tomar mis fotografías del lugar, hice un par de videollamadas para compartir con algunas queridas amistades que vinieron a mi mente mientras disfrutaba el estar allí.
Luego de mucho tiempo el calor ya tomaba fuerza, así que di un último vistazo al cristo y a la ciudad antes de retirarme, qué lugar tan espacial, para mí, una energía del más alto nivel.

Hoy, al recordarlo de esta forma, también recuerdo que la mayoría de personas que nacieron aquí nunca lo han visitado y tampoco tienen planes de hacerlo, así como unos pocos que han ido a conocer el lugar, no sé sintieron tan impactados como yo, bueno cada uno de nosotros es un universo.
Yo no podía esperar para volver. Adore esa visita. Al pasar algunos meses volví más preparado y con más tiempo para estar allí. El mundo tiene tantos lugares tan increíbles, me siento afortunado de poder conocer por el momento uno más de ellos.
The days of enjoyment began after a whole first year of hard work, so I was able to request my vacation period. I scheduled it for two months later to organize my finances and decide what to do, it was a new city, I only knew the area where I lived and its surroundings, plus the place where I worked.
After those longed-for 60 days, the time came, it was official, I was on vacation. I was so curious, a city with an immense amount of theaters, cinemas, shopping malls, beaches, exhibitions, monuments, in short, I had a good range of options at my disposal.
I had to select the ones I most wanted to know, I had to adjust my interest with my finances, so I took the initiative to know one of the emblematic sites of Rio de Janeiro such as the Cristo Redentor or Cristo de Corcovado.
Due to my freedom of schedules, obviously for being on vacation, I decided to make this visit on a weekday, so I could be with fewer visitors and would be quieter stay, to enjoy the place at will.
I made a trip of about 1 hour from my place of residence to where the famous monument is located, a good sunny day with clear skies is all that is necessary to enjoy one of the wonders of the world.
I arrived early, because there were not many visitors during the week, it was not necessary to buy online or make reservations, I bought directly at the ticket office, I waited a few minutes for the train to arrive and the tour began. There is a van route, but it was my first visit, so I decided to take the train.
I was very well attended by the staff and the view that can be appreciated during the movement of the train going up the mountain is phenomenal. It was worth it to choose the train.
It only took a few minutes to get to the top of the mountain, the sun shining at its brightest, summer days, the sky cloudless and me there in total excitement.
For years I had been hearing about it on television as one of the wonders of the world, one of the most famous monuments, tourist reference of the country and of course icon of the city of Rio.
I could already feel a tremendous energy just climbing the stairs and approaching the end of the top where the Christ is located.
I didn't know where I should fix my attention, I could observe all the center of Rio and its surroundings, the well known as well as beautiful beaches, the military 9fort, the commercial and private boats, all those people from different countries, I had never heard so many languages at the same time.
I continued my ascent until I reached the end and there it was, the figure of the Christ, magnificent.
For a few minutes, I gave a continuous look of admiration before such a splendid work, as well as admiration towards me, for making decisions that lead to moments like that, absolute satisfaction. The level of joy at being there is inexplicable.

I don't know how much time I spent there, I enjoyed the view from every possible place, besides taking my pictures of the place, I made a couple of video calls to share with some dear friends that came to my mind while I was enjoying being there.
After a long time the heat was getting stronger, so I took a last look at the christ and the city before retiring, what a spatial place, for me, an energy of the highest level.

Today, remembering it this way, I also remember that most people who were born here have never visited it and have no plans to do so, as well as a few who have been to see the place, did not feel as impacted as I did, well each one of us is a universe.
I couldn't wait to go back. I loved that visit. After a few months I came back more prepared and with more time to spend there. The world has so many amazing places, I feel fortunate to be able to know one more of them for the time being.

La verdad es que había oído hablar mucho del cristo redentor y de lo grande que era y lo bonito, pero aunque suene ignorante, lo que más me ha sorprendido es la altura a la que está y las vistas desde allí.
Buena idea lo de ir entre semana así se disfruta mejor de todo, cuando no hay tanta aglomeración de personas.

Hola! Es cierto lo que dices, a veces tenemos en nuestra propia ciudad maravillas como ésta para visitar y, por verlas cada día ahí no se les da el mismo valor que le da alguien que viene de fuera.
Las vistas desde ahí son maravillosas y tiene que ser una pasada subir a ese pedazo de monumento! Lo que no sé cuánto te costó subir, si había muchos escalones o hay opción de ascensor? Jajja un saludo !
