[ENG-SPN] Towns, chimeras and dreams / Pueblos, quimeras y ensueños

In addition to continuing to be a land of haughty olive growers, Jaén is also a land where Nature, with the implicit power of its sovereign imagination, expresses itself with the strength and overwhelming magnificence of proud mountain ranges, from whose misty cliffs the panoramic view of some little white towns, which, settled on the metaphorical ports on their side, watch life go by, still keeping the legends alive to the comfortable love of the fires of the home.

Seeing them from those same cliffs where the watchful eye of the eagle ambushes the trusting chamois, reveals, to the eyes of the layman, an entire universe of perspectives, where the subjective splits the susceptibility of the everyday, to become that mockery of the fantastic, which in the end is possessed by a persistent tradition, where the impossible becomes the guide of the probable, serving as a guide to the blindness of rationality.

Además de continuar siendo una tierra de aceituneros altivos, es Jaén también una tierra donde la Naturaleza, con el poder implícito de su soberana imaginación, se expresa con la fuerza y la sobrecogedora magnificencia de orgullosas sierras, desde cuyos neblinosos riscos se extiende la panorámica de unos pueblecitos blancos, que, asentados a los metafóricos puertos de su vera, contemplan la vida pasar, manteniendo todavía vivas las leyendas al confortable amor de los fuegos del hogar.

Verlos desde esos mismos riscos donde el ojo avizor del águila tiende emboscadas al confiado rebeco, revela, a los ojos del profano, todo un universo de perspectivas, donde lo subjetivo hiende la susceptibilidad de lo cotidiano, para convertirse en ese burlón de lo fantástico, que al final es poseído por una persistente tradición, donde lo imposible se convierte en el lazarillo de lo probable, sirviendo de guía a la ceguera de la racionalidad.
