Madrid: do you know the Meet Vincent Van Gogh Exhibition?
As in the case of many other great geniuses of Humanity, his inimitable talent went completely unnoticed in his time, beginning to be recognized long after his death.
Or, to be more exact, a long time after his romantic starry night, an unclear circumstance, against which historians still guess between suicide and murder, which also served as inspiration for the singer Don McLean to compose a song - nowadays, essential among the classics - that we have all possibly heard and sung with nostalgia at some time: 'Vincent, starry, starry night'.
Because simply saying Vincent or adding the Van Gogh surname somehow softens us, enlightens our soul and in our romantic vision of the artist, two archetypes immediately appear, which summarize a good part of his inner gnosis: sunflowers and stars.
In a way, his person is also a reference, since we could even suggest that if the sunflowers represent the folksy and finite Vincent, the stars are, on the contrary, the symbol of the immortality of the genius known as Van Gogh.
His immortality is guaranteed, not only by the extraordinary number of people in the world who passionately follow his life and work, but also by the increasingly extraordinary and sophisticated exhibitions that try to portray, both one facet and another, taking advantage of all the guarantees of spectacularity offered by new technologies.
If in 2018, it could be said that a year before the world began to resent the terrible inconvenience that the Covid-19 pandemic represented and continues to assume, the new technologies already presented an interactive alternative to delve into the knowledge of Van Gogh, his life and his work, under the title of Van Gogh Alive, this year another of Madrid's superb cultural shows, goes even further, presenting to the public the Meet Vincent Van Gogh exhibition, where the interactive technique is added to the new experience to be able to touch a series of objects, faithfully reproduced and on a natural scale, that represent the settings and environments where the artist's life adventure took place.
A virtual and at the same time physical walk through the work and life of a misunderstood genius, whose apparent madness -for we must not forget that he was admitted to a mental sanatorium- was also the unexpected vehicle of a fervent, prosperous and overwhelming creativity, which It has not left future generations indifferent and it constitutes, in fact, an enriching experience that is difficult to overcome.
In fact, as there is also room in the exhibition for thousands and thousands of works by artists of all time, inspired by him, including that unforgettable representation of the great American actor Kirk Douglas, in a classic of cinema: The madman whith Red hair'.
Experience, in short, that as far as possible, I invite you to witness, to get a little idea and if you plan to go on a trip to Madrid, suggest it, in the assurance that it will not disappoint you.
The Meet Vincent Van Gogh Exhibition, organized by the prestigious Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdan, is located on the popular Paseo de las Delicias, next to the old Delicias station and will remain in Madrid, until January 9, 2022.

Van Gogh touched many aspects of life.
Yes, too many I would say, if not all.
When I saw the group of daisies in your first post, I thought of the calming feature of chamomile tea, I stayed for a while, relaxing🌼🌼
They certainly induce that effect. I think it was not by chance that the organizers of the Exhibition chose precisely that theme as the reason for the exhibition. Greetings.
