Passion for cars - Pasión por los automóviles [Eng - Esp]
Hello friends of #Carworld, this is my first post in this community, so I hope you like it.
One of my passions is motor racing. Since the situation forced me to sell my colt, the car that I have always wanted since I was a child, I recognize that I need all that which made me feel when I stepped on the accelerator fully. I love when the momentum or torque of the start pushes me towards the seat, the sound of a powerful engine, when the tires are smoking and the rear of the car goes out of control to the sides, take a U-turn just by turning the steering wheel and just speed up; and above all I love the speed that feeds my senses and leads me to achieve an inner peace and satisfaction a bit similar to the ecstasy of climax.
Since I started my career as a teacher, I saved or requested credits to complete and buy another car of more value. In this way I have managed, to date, to buy my five vehicles that I wanted to test and experience the different driving sensation that each type of them offered me. That has been the only reason why I sell them and not for business, although I must admit that for some years the economic and salary situation of the workers here in Venezuela is no longer satisfactory at all and I can no longer continue with that custom or nor customize them to my liking.
My first car was a synchronous 89 Ford Pickup F-150 double cab pickup that, despite having a 6-cylinder engine, had a fifth gearbox and had very good performance. I worked a lot with her since I had to travel throughout the municipality where I live for work reasons, especially in rural areas and with difficult access, occasionally I had to travel to other states of the country. At that time my students were doing the practices of productive Endogenous Development jobs in a nearby community and I was moving them by group several times a day. I customized it from the color combination to everything that occurred to me inside and outside. I put stirrups, pipes in the drawer, mataburros, I gave it more height, personalized upholstery and many, many extras.

Una de mis pasiones es el automovilismo. Desde que la situación me obligó a vender mi potro, el carro que siempre quise desde niño, reconozco que me hace falta todo eso que me hacía sentir el pisar el acelerador a fondo. Me encanta cuando el impulso o torque de la arrancada me empuja hacia el asiento, el sonido de un motor potente, cuando los cauchos salen humeando y la parte trasera del carro se va descontrolada hacia los lados, dar una vuelta en U con sólo girar el volante y simplemente acelerar; y sobre todo me encanta la velocidad que alimenta mis sentidos y me lleva a alcanzar una paz interna y una satisfacción un poco similar al éxtasis del clímax.
Desde que me inicié en mi carrera como docente ahorraba o solicitaba créditos para completar y comprar otro carro de más de valor. De esa forma logré, hasta la fecha, comprar mis cinco vehículos que quise probar y experimentar la sensación distinta de manejo que me ofrecía cada tipo de ellos. Esa ha sido la única razón por la que los vendo y no por negocio, aunque debo reconocer que desde hace algunos años la situación económica y salarial de los trabajadores aquí es Venezuela ya no es para nada satisfactoria y ya no puedo seguir con esa costumbre ni tampoco personalizarlos a mi gusto.
Mi primer auto fue una camioneta Ford Pickup F-150 doble cabina año 89 sincrónica que a pesar de que tenía un motor de 6 cilindros tenía una caja con quinta y que tenía muy buen desempeño. Con ella trabajé mucho ya que debía recorrer todo el municipio donde vivo por cuestiones de trabajo sobre todo por zonas rurales y de difícil acceso, ocasionalmente debía viajar a otros estados del país. Para ese entonces mis estudiantes hacían las prácticas de los trabajos productivos de Desarrollo Endógeno en una comunidad cercana y los trasladaba por grupo varias veces al día. Le personalicé desde la combinación de colores hasta todo lo que se me ocurriera en el interior como en su exterior. Le coloqué estribos, tuberías en el cajón, mataburros, le di más altura, tapicería personalizada y muchísimos extras.

Después seleccioné un Ford Laser modelo 2001 (sedán) que poseía un pequeño motor de 4 cilindros, pero de 1.8 litros así que su rendimiento también era muy bueno. Nuevamente personalicé a mi estilo y gustos y le agregué mucha tecnología que incluía sensor de movimiento, sensor de proximidad, sensor de luces con toda la iluminación HID, módulos eleva vidrios centralizados con la alarma y un sonido espectacular, entre otras cosas. En varias ocasiones utilice caminos rurales para hacer algo parecido a un rally, una muy agradable sensación.
After traveling a good part of the country looking for the car of my dreams, I managed to get a Ford Mustang year 2000 (coupe) and although it was not synchronous as I wanted it surprised me from the day I drove it as a test prior to its purchase. Easily and quickly it reached 200 km/h and although I knew that I could give more I never wanted to pass it at that speed. It had a 4.6-liter 8-cylinder engine which caused a unique and unmatched driving experience. I also personalized it with technological toys such as a digital alarm that allowed me to turn it on remotely or program it to turn on only at a certain time and I could even turn on the air conditioning that way. Again I installed a light sensor, a rain sensor and a complete closing of the windows with the alarm and many other extras. I already brought a Flowmaster that, in addition to increasing its pleasant engine sound, added another few horsepower. It was an exclusive car but difficult to maintain because of the spare parts that were not very common in this area and were a bit expensive.
Something that bothered the neighbors and many people where he passed was that he made other parked cars go off just by passing by the roar of the engine. I always wanted to hear his roar inside a tunnel, which I did not have the opportunity to do.
Luego de recorrer buena parte del país buscando el carro de mis sueños, logré conseguir un Ford Mustang año 2000 (coupé) y aunque no era sincrónico como quería me sorprendió desde el día que lo conduje como prueba previa a su compra. Fácil y rápidamente alcanzaba los 200 km/h y aunque sabía que podía dar más nunca quise pasarlo de esa velocidad. Tenía un motor de 8 cilindros de 4.6 litros que causaba una experiencia de manejo única e inigualable. También lo personalicé con juguetes tecnológicos como alarma digital que me permitía encenderlo a distancia o programarlo para que se encendiera solo a determinada hora y hasta le podía encender de esa forma el aire acondicionado. Nuevamente instalé sensor de luces, sensor de lluvia y cerrado completo hasta de ventanas con la alarma y otros tantos extras. Ya traía un Flowmaster que además de incrementar su agradable sonido del motor le añadía otros cuantos caballos de fuerza. Era un carro exclusivo pero difícil de mantener por los repuestos que no eran muy comunes en esta zona y resultaban un poco caros.
Algo que molestaba a los vecinos y a mucha gente por donde pasaba era que le hacía disparar la alarma a otros autos estacionados sólo con pasar a su lado por el estruendo del motor. Siempre quise escuchar su rugido dentro de un túnel cosa que no tuve la oportunidad de hacer.
Then I bought a comfortable, soft and spacious Honda Accord 99 that I only got to customize a few things because the economic situation was already pressing. I also installed accessories to close the windows with the alarm and all its white HID and led lights, a DVD, television, GPS and Bluetooth. Without having thought about selling it yet, I had to do it to insure the truck that belonged to my father who had already passed away and that the family decided to sell, so I sold the Accord and bought the Toyota Hilux 97 synchronous 4x4 double cab and although I have made some adaptations to my liking I am just starting, unfortunately the economic income is not as profitable as in some years ago.
Luego adquirí un cómodo, suave y espacioso Honda Accord del 99 al que sólo llegué a personalizarle pocas cosas porque ya la situación económica venía apretando. También le instalé accesorios para cerrar las ventanas con la alarma y todas sus luces blancas HID y de led, un equipo de DVD, televisión, GPS y bluetooh. Sin haber pensado aún en venderlo lo tuve que hacer para asegurar la camioneta que era de mi padre que ya había fallecido y que la familia decidió vender, así que vendí el Accord y me compré la Toyota Hilux del 97 sincrónica 4x4 de doble cabina y aunque ya le he hecho algunas adaptaciones a mi gusto recién estoy empezando, lamentablemente los ingresos económicos no son tan rendidores como en algunos años atrás.
If they ask me what has been my favorite, I quickly answer that the Ford Mustang and I hope that in the not too distant future I can acquire another one like that and be able to release the accumulated stress with a therapeutic session of handling a foal.
Si me preguntan cuál ha sido mi preferido rápidamente respondo que el Ford Mustang y espero que en un futuro no muy lejano pueda adquirir otro como ese y poder liberar el estrés acumulado con una sesión terapéutica del manejo de un potro.
