More than half way to being a millionaire! This time in dCity.
One thing I decided when I became a "millionaire" in the Risng Star game was to try to become a "millionaire" in more games within the HIVE ecosystem. And one of the games in which I have invested time and re-invested some of the profits that I have made within the HIVE ecosystem itself is the dCity game.
This is my city at the moment.
And these are some of my statistics in the game. As you can see I have a certain level, which means that I can no longer call myself a beginner.
About a month ago I decided to stop buying cards and start the path to being a millionaire from the dCity game token called SIM, mainly for two reasons.
The first is more with a view to the future. The SIM token has an original bond at a value of 0.004 HIVE and right now it can be purchased for around 0.0012 HIVE. If the token rises to its original value at some point it would gain triple in value and, seeing all the development and movement that is in and around the HIVE blockchain, I would not be surprised if it happened and even increased its value more than that.
The second reason is that simply by keeping those tokens in your account you receive a daily amount of HIVE tokens. The amount depends on how many SIM tokens you have and with a million SIM tokens the amount should not be a bad thing.
And a third reason that is not very important but is also valid is that it works a bit like saving money in a bank. If at some point in the future I need money in "real life" I can always change these tokens to euros. It requires a process that usually takes a day or two in total so it is not as bad as you might think.
For about a month I have started this path investing almost everything I have earned and ...
... today I have exceeded the sum of 600,000 SIM tokens.
It is, as I said in the title, more than half the way to being a millionaire. I hope that the month of October is beneficial enough to give me the possibility to achieve this goal. And who knows, surpass it too. Why not?

Upon reading your post I am curious about the game city. Can be the token exchange to real money?Just curious.
Not directly. Like the token DEC from Splinterlands game you have to to sell for HIVE and then change HIVE to another token easy to change in money. Something like Litecoin for example. Thats the way I do it.
I had 1,000 SIM, then I bought some stuff to reduce my unemployed numbers.
dCity just sits there, because tax rates are high and disasters suck away any SIM I earn.
Yes, tax rates are very high but the HIVE rewards to keep the SIMs in the wallet are good and always remember that the price is pegged to 0.004 and atm you cna get it for much much less .. if rise up to the original price would be really nice. happens with DEC, why not with SIM? 😁😉
I doubt the SIM token will rise back to 0.004 HIVE. The only way that would happen is if there is a sudden influx of players buying up SIM or if everyone votes taxes to infinity and rewards to nothing.
Maybe if Dcity becomes popular in the next few months it will happen.
As I see it I am kind of betting on this. Can happens. I do not think will go down the price is atm.
I agree, 880-900 SIM/HIVE is guaranteed for he foreseeable future, so no harm in holding some.
I personally just spent it all on card though :)

You and are on the same path. I got my 1M Starbits, and decided that would be a great number for SIM too. My goal is to get to a holding leveling where the daily payout gets to be 2-3 Hive that I can sell for SIM And then use to really expand my cities. I am over 700k, and now as I get closer, I start to feel like I might want more than 1M. I have sold some SPS over the past month and moved into SIM, pretty sure I will regret that like most of my cyrpto decisions in about 6 months.
Either way, I think its safe to hold SIM long term, get the daily diviend and then reinvest into the market for cards.

I also think the same. By the way, taking the calculation of the daily rewards to earn 2-3 HIVEs you need at least 1 million and a half
