FALLEN TREES CAUSED BY "IPO-IPO" TORNADO
So our city got hit by a tornado, we were surprised by the strong wind that hit our place which we thought was just normal, little did we know it actually caused a lot of damages in some areas inside and outside the city,
Our rice field caretakers called us for help because their house got hit by a tree due to the strong rain and wind.
but then as we hurried to go to their place we were stopped by another tree fallen in the road
luckily, the city rescuer responded immediately when my dad called them which they brought a chain saw and cut it into small pieces
after they moved the trees on the side, we finally arrive at our maintainer's house, and it looked like this
"we almost died," they said because the part where the tree fell was their room which they stayed during the whirlwind
still, despite the fear and damage caused by the tornado, they joke "if only there was gold beneath the tree" hahaha
also, you can see the small roots that are holding the tree is not well-grounded,
here's my lolo "grandpa" measuring the tree in his own way, cutting it slightly so that if the city rescuer arrives they know where to cut it in half,
the reason why the rescuers didn't come with us when we crossed the road, they were still doing rounds to cut the fallen trees in other areas
and here's a cute worm, wandering around, I guess it's gonna transfer to a new tree since its habitat will be cut off already, sad.. but take care Lil fella ~
While waiting for the rescuers, I took a picture of our rice field, it got harvested recently so we have to wait for several months for it to grow again, but it looks like this when it ready to harvest
that's my cousin on the left side, we were observing the place that time when it was ready for harvesting
anyways,
when the rescuer arrived they immediately cut the tree and removed it from being attached to the house, the Kagawads guided our caretaker to go to the city hall in the morning to ask for money support for the repair in their house
we were glad that they are safe and taken care of, it was a long and productive day
Grabe, may tornado na sa atin! Hope everyone is okay.
yess.. common siya sa mga bukid/farm areas, hndi kami concern sa flood sa side namin pero titirahin naman kami ng ipo-ipo, earthquake and landslide 😅 even tho i live inside the city its still scary ..
I can't imagine. Well, good to know that you are all okay, except for a few trees.
