MY LIFE AS A SCAVENGER IN JAPAN SURPLUS

Our province has been experiencing power interruption and it's happening a lot of times during the day, Maybe the electricity company had to fix something.

I had to come out of my room since it was dark and I went up to the living room to see my mom scrolling on Facebook.

While I was sitting on the couch writing something in my notebook, my mom suddenly mentioned that Zean Japan Surplus was going to have a 1 peso sale (0.018 USD) of all items for their upcoming anniversary, it caught my interest because I am a scavenger in finding items that I find useful for my painting.

I then asked my mom if we could go since there was no electricity and It was boring to wait for the power to come back, My ma was reluctant saying we should come during the peso anniversary but I insisted on going just to sightsee items 😏 my mom can't resist her child of course, she gave in to my pleading.

When we arrived I roamed around to look for an item to my liking, I was tempted to buy some. However, I had to stop myself because they were still priced at 10 pesos to 50 pesos each,

I proceeded to go to the big area where cabinets, chairs, and beds are located, I had my eyes on the kotatsu, I had already imagined using it for my painting while sitting on the floor but it's high priced at 5,000 pesos ~ ouch ~ my mom said to wait for the anniversary to see how much we can bargain on it.

I moved to the bed area touching and sitting to see the firmness and quality of it, and japans product didn't fail me, It's built-in quality, the color black, and the one wrapped in cellophane looked neat compared to the other beds around, I thought of my brother who needed a new one and I asked Ma if she could buy this for bro, she agreed on it,

I inserted my playfulness saying she should buy one for me too for equality love among her children ~ 😆 My mom knows I'm a sulky person 😆 so she bought the black one for me and the grey one for bro, nyahahaha! thanks, ma! prices each cost 7k (black)-8k (grey) including the stand of the bed, but luckily the owner of the place is a family friend so we asked for a bargain, and gave us a 3k discount 😌 thank you connection ~

ANNIVERSARY DAY

We were advised to come early around 8:00am since it was their opening time, I was 30 minutes late and boy there were a lot of people around, I couldn't even get a single ceramic to pick for myself so I proceeded to the table, chair, and cabinet area, to see how much they put a discount on,

IMG20230808082611.jpg

To my surprise, their kotatsu was priced from 5k pesos to 2k, when ma saw it she wanted to try asking if she could buy it for 1k 🤣 and she did! HAHAHA

The tables are my favorite part, because it is in quality and I needed a long one despite buying a new one in shopee which was a waste of money on my part because it wasn't heavy duty and reliable compared to these tables! ugh, I should have wasted my money on surplus rather than in online shops, Still, it's my fault for taking the risk of buying online, but lesson learned next time japan surplus will be the first option to see.

IMG20230808082514.jpg

I had to contemplate whether I should buy this one or the other one, I needed a bigger width size but the small one was tempting for its color to match my room, but I settled with this big one right here, from 5k price down to 4k in anniv discount to me bargaining and bought it for 3k 😌 tables like these costs 10k for original price or more i think and just imagine buying this quality for 3k? A GOOD CATCH REALLY! I am the happiest person in the world, THANK GOD FOR SURPLUS, and THANK YOU TO MY PARENTS FOR SPOILING ME!

more and more people came in after hearing about the peso sale and the whole place was almost emptied, I also had to fight to get a computer chair for 700 pesos because the one I reserved was taken away without my consent Hmmph! 😖 I placed it near the table I reserved but still, someone dared to get it, I was still happy there were a couple of chairs left and Father bought the two for me,

well.. who wouldn't grab everything you see when it's priced 1-5 pesos no? I now got the chance to get some leftover items, but I only got a few of them, and the colored blue one in the picture with a handle was just left alone, maybe the one who grabbed it somewhere didn't have any use nor understand it but thanks to that person who placed it in the table and not buy coz' I am the perfect person to make use of such item since its about calligraphy I'll blog about unboxing the item in my next blog ~

All the items we bought were delivered early in the morning and one of their staff assembled the bed for us ~ me and my bro were the happiest to have new beds ~ happy with my computer table and chair, and more space for my blog station ~

THANK YOU FOR READING!

Ohoo, I thought kami lang nakaka experience ng power interruption, I even said na Mindoro is the brownout capital in Philippines haha, I guess not. Parehas din dyan, lol.

Anyways, grabi, ang mumura, if samin yan naku mapapa grab din mga oldies ko nyan. Laki ng tipid and mukhang good quality talaga. Di na lugi ano.

Oh, it means it can get cheaper pa noh? Nice naman dyan.

I will go straight with the ceramis and bowl because it is so artistic knowing it is from Japan. I miss doing this but the Surplus here in our place has no good items. Haha 😆

Hahaha why do i feel like if you are here you'd be buying all the quality items here 😆

One time there was this rich woman who visited in the area roaming around with an assistant and she was just pointing at every cabinet, table and chair she liked and bought it by cash 😆

I feel like you have the same vibe as her if ever 😆 hahaha
