All the arable crops are flourishing well! The moring sparkling with the sun rays brightens the crops as if they were scattered diamonds. I was very excited to see all the crops blossoming well. The rain has been a blessing manna for the maize and other inter cropped produce like cassava and cocoyam. It seems we had planted at the right time meeting the peak of rainfall. The rain had noted to be erratic in its supply during the minor season, but not by this time of the year 2023. The rain has served it purpose throughout the farming seasons ( the major & minor seasons). We have nothing to blame the rain if our crops aren't yield well. It might be other things else like the soil being weak or unfertile or farming operations not up to task.

Look at how beautiful my crops look like

Luckily, all the weeds are sprayed have died, and I was much happy to see this. The maize plants are healthy and growing very fast. The cocoyam too with the morning dew sparkling on their leaves are so beautiful and looks like bubbles dropping from the sky. There are no visible weeds disturbing the crops, all weeds have been cleared and excess branches have been pruned to allow good aeration, good absorption of nutrients. There is no part that we have weeds growing. I've really conquered every place with weeds by spraying with non-selective weedicides. I discovered that some of the parts of my maize plants have become pale and developing some yellowish colour. But this isn't some disease infestation. This might due to lack of some plant nutrients which have cost this. Again, the planting distance was that very closed. In this case, I should have provided the fertilizer very early for the maize plants to use.

The state of my maize plants growing in healthy conditions

The egg plants are in their peak of bearing more fruits, while more other plants are bearing fruits. These egg plants were intended grown in uncompleted building and hence couldn't expand the fire size. I even appreciate the higher yield I have plucked lately. The pepper too are growing very fast and healthy.

The garden eggs in view

These pepper were transplanted few weeks ago. I kept supplying good plant nutrients for them and pesticides were also not left out. I'm weeding to see positive result.

In the later of the day when I was about to close from the farm, I spotted some white mushroom on one dead tree which had remained here for several days. As we are aware, for mushroom grow best at humid and well decomposed area. I took about 2 pics.

I couldn't monitored my tomatoes farm to check how they were faring. For most of the pepper fruits are ripening and I was very excited to see this. Last few days, I sorted out few of the fruits into my basket for sale. I want to see more riped ones so that O can get more money from it.

It was getting late hour of the days and I decided to go rest for a while.

Hello @jude9 , you could use compost made from dry leaves to fertilize your plantations.

That's even the best option I can adopt!
