How to live the life you always dreamed of and express your inner child

When it comes to NFTs (non fungible tokens) I’m a creator as well as a trader. I make original NFT artworks and I also collect works of other artists. But I’m not building up a collection like a connoisseur, to keep in my vault, or in my gallery. I buy to sell. I make to sell and I buy to also sell. I’m a trader of art, with the idea of making a profit flipping NFTs. And when my own works aren’t selling as much as I would like, then I buy someone else’s work.

In this way I like to see the flow of NFT artworks circulating. It seems that the only people buying my artworks are also other NFT artists themselves. So it looks like a silo of artists buying each others’ works. After all, the only people who sign up to www.nftshowroom.com are artists like myself. So we sell amongst ourselves it seems. I don’t see this going very far just yet, but maybe people will find the showroom online one day and it will grow.

Other artists have been kind enough to buy some of my minted NFTs so I like to support them and buy the ones I like too. And then once I have bought some bargains, I like to resell them at a profit. It’s a glorious life, and multiple streams of income are always recommended, especially now as fiat loses value.

Art has always been a store of value and an investment. Now it’s NFT digital art, and the same principle applies. I have not only never had the cash to be an art dealer, I have also never had the walls to hang any art. It’s just the way my life was molded by my lifestyle choices. It came without walls, by choice. Now in my maturity, I have a little bit of wall, so I hang my own original paper artworks which I put in nice frames, like an old school artwork. And I hang those on all my walls. It’s inspiring to fill my own walls of my rental with my own artworks. I have about 10 so far, though will need more frames to hang the rest.

But when it comes to collecting the artworks of other NFT artists, I can simply keep them in my gallery online at the showroom where I sell my own NFTs. That’s the way it’s done nowadays. And while I buy up some bargains, I reprice them to sell at a profit and thus call myself an artist and an art dealer, as well as a collector. I could never have done this in the world before blockchain, so the tech has liberated and empowered me.

With this added income stream, as well as an extra hat I can now wear, by giving myself these extra titles or careers, I feel like my talents can emerge at last in my later years like this. Some people blossom and then fade, while some linger and then blossom later in life. I’m the latter, where I did very little for most of my life and now am rising to my greatest heights and peaking in the last years before retirement.

At this rate I won’t want to retire as I’m just getting my life up to speed now. As a self employed person for 99% of my working life, I am a rugged individualist with various talents, so to add the title of artist and art dealer to the list, is really a lot of fun. None of what I do is work really. It’s all play. I have fun all year long for years on end as a permanent lifestyle choice, never having to work hard for a boss or having to get up in the morning to go somewhere against my desires to make someone else rich.

I love getting up to do my own work of making art or trading it, as well as blogging and publishing written content, and trading cryptocurrency of course. All of this is pure original creative content and self-expression in my way in my time at my pace. And the money flows, the expenses are paid, and life is one big playground of fun. I would say it’s like being a kid – no worries and no problems. Only having fun making weird art and gaming on the crypto exchange, like a gamer on their Playstation. Except I strategize against the crypto market, and as I improve, the profits accumulate.

I hope you are also giving your inner child some room to express themselves with whatever you do. We all need a creative outlet and a time to play or have fun with what we do. So find a way to add that to your life, otherwise you will dry up like a prune and have no juice to sweeten your existence. A life of nectar like mine, despite having no property, no family and no business, is quite joyful – the inner child has all the room to play in this game of life. But that was my personal choice and I stuck to it since childhood, much to my relief.

You may have become stuck under the weight of your lifestyle choices, but whatever they were, add some play time or art time to be creative and have fun. It may even be profitable, like my NFT digital art sales and trading. What a pleasure to have fun and make money doing it. I feel blissful with my lifestyle choices and wake up to dive in with enthusiasm seven days a week all year long.

If you can’t say the same about your lifestyle, then now is the time to make some little adjustments. You will stay youthful and look it too, due to less stress and more fun.

If you want to see the results of my creative output, then just read my blog or go to my gallery wall to see my art or better still, buy some. You can check it out at www.nftshowroom.com/julianhorack/gallery.

Ai, that was a beautiful read! I strongly believe that it's always worth it to pursue the path of joy and freedom and it's great to read that you do exactly that.
I'm sure the nft-business will stay for a while longer and it just grows bigger by the time. Bigger collectors will find NFT-Showroom eventually and with it your art and your collection.

I'm curious, how is the secondary market on NFT-Showroom? Did you sell some of the artworks you had bought from other artists yet?

Hey there Anafae, many thanks for your kind comments. My life is blissful so I like to share the bliss with the readers in my post. As for the secondary market, no sales yet but I like to imagine it will manifest and so I dream it up as I go along, or act as if it is already happening. 🙂
