Interesting thoughts and perspectives mate, I do enjoy a philosophical or existential moment occasionally, along the lines of who am I or who are we. Your contrarian views on socfi are refreshing. I find it curious how Hive seems to solve loads of problems and appears to be quite a powerful blockchain and yet so few people have taken to it. I am bewildered at the low adoption.

I appreciate the kind words, I believe that ultimately, arriving at what works would require looking at things from various perspectives.
Hive is a blockchain, but it appears that we've somehow allowed the social side of it(given the dApps that dominate the space) to define it, which, in itself isn't bad, but what is quite disturbing is the "tribalistic" competitions that follows this, which I would blame the narrow concept of "rewarding contents" with Hive inflation, something not quite sustainable and only what has caused way too much drama within the space given the widespread debates on what a valuable content is or should be, thus, ultimately what should deserve rewards.
Inflationary tokens can be problematic. And the prejudice of the Hive whales regarding worthy content means that the place is slanted, skewed or biased by the agenda of those whales sadly.
