After having escaped the first two times from planet 4546B (in survival and permanent death difficulty), I saw that there was a second part of this game, in a very cold region and being the protagonist in the skin of another person, I decide to return to this hostile planet full of water and in search of... My sister? Before starting with the adventure I was very surprised that they added more ways to play, as you know there are the classic modes that add different styles of difficulty to the game, but I found it curious that they added the custom style which you can enable or disable game options as you like, customizing your game as you like.

First impressions

Choosing the survival mode I decided to go to this planet once again, how different can it be? Well, I was surprised as soon as I started, the first thing I noticed was a very significant improvement in graphics as well as effects, shadows and colors, it seemed as if all the images were very noticeable improvements creating quite nice effects and a pleasant feeling when playing it, this coupled with a spectacular sound quality and a story that at first impressions intrigued me made me capture my attention pretty quickly and continue playing it. Another thing that intrigued me is that we start not from an accident (as in the previous game), but from the ship itself and by choice? Who would dare to come to this planet just because? In fact, we start as Robin, who is looking for a research team that disappeared from the planet, and in which was her sister Sam to her sister Sam.

Another thing that impressed me the most is that when I arrived I found dry land and although it was present in part 1, I could not believe how vast it was but my impression was little to see that EVERYTHING was covered by snow, ie I was not only on a planet where most of the surface was water, there were also these small areas with snow and quite cold.

When walking a little I saw that there was a new survival bar and this indicated the cold you could resist, in addition to this in this part of the planet there are storms which are accompanied by strong hail and powerful lightning, these give a pretty good atmosphere to the context of the situation and everything that our character goes through in his investigation.

GAMEPLAY

If we make a comparison with part 1, there are quite noticeable changes, such as the new temperature bar that affects the character, making that for every moment you are on the surface it drops making it freezes and can die, on the other hand, the diversity of fauna and flora of the place as well as the new challenges make Subnautica 2 a very enjoyable experience for lovers of survival games and Subnautica 1.

As I was informed I'm looking for a lost expedition, so I figured the planet was lonely, but as I explored the terrain a bit I realized that there were everything from flowers that heat you up (making the temperature gauge rise) to a lady (to call her something, who demands us to move away from her territory.

On the other hand, I could realize (not because of my previous experience with this game), that I could gather resources much easier than starting this game for the first time (which I consider good, since it is no longer tedious to spend long hours trying to get some material). Another thing I liked the most is that at the beginning of the game we have to go in search of the capsule (base) that we brought from space, compared to the lifesaver we had at the beginning of subnautica 1 it is more updated, fresh and efficient, not to mention that at first glance it is quite nice.

So far my progress in the game goes beyond 1 hour (getting to two), however, I already have 2 basic transports (which I love), the first one is the slider which doesn't change at all from the first installment, however, the second transport is GREAT!

It offers a wide view to the outside, making exploration a much more spacious, efficient and comfortable process by being in front of this ship and therefore much more enjoyable.

In summary, so far the little I've played of subnautica I've loved, I think it's worth playing and if you played part 1 of this game you will certainly enjoy it, especially for the story that changes and is not repeated to delivery one (at least for now), on the other hand the variety of creatures and marine plants as well as materials provides that fresh and updated touch that gives pleasure to see, enjoy and discover, making subnautica two a game to have a good time, and with these alien creatures penguins I say goodbye, thanks for stopping by, do not forget to Vote, Comment and Share, until a next adventure Gamer friend.

Luego de haber escapado las primeras dos veces del planeta 4546B (en la dificultad supervivencia y muerte permanente), vi que había una segunda parte de este juego, en una region muy fría y siendo protagonista en la piel de otra persona, decido volver a este hostil planeta lleno de agua y en busca de… ¿Mi hermana? Antes de empezar con la aventura me llamo mucho la atención que añadieron más formas de jugar, como bien saben estan los modos clásicos que añaden diferentes estilos de dificultad al juego, pero me pareció curioso que añadieron el estilo personalizado el cual puedes activar o desactivar opciones del juego como te plaza, personalizando tu partida como te guste.

Primeras impresiones

Escogiendo el modo supervivencia decidí partir a este planeta una vez más, ¿Qué tan diferente puede ser? Pues bien, me lleve una sorpresa nada mas al empezar, lo primero que pude notar fue una mejora muy significativa de los graficos asi como tambien efectos, sombras y colores, pareciera como si todas las imágenes fueran mejoras muy notablemente creando efectos bastante bonitos y una sensación agradable al jugarlo, esto unido con una espectacular calidad de sonido y una historia que a primeras impresiones me intrigo hizo captar mi atención bastante rapido y seguir jugándolo. Otra de las cosas que más me intrigo es que empezamos no desde un accidente (como en el juego anterior), sino desde la propia nave y ¿por decisión propia? ¿Quién se atrevería a venir a este planeta solo porque sí? De hecho, empezamos siendo Robin, la cual está buscando a un equipo de investigación que desapareció del planeta, y en el cual estaba su hermana Sam a su hermana Sam.

Otra de las cosas que más me impresiono es que al llegar me encontré con tierra firme y aunque está estaba presente en la parte 1, no podía creer lo basto que era pero mi impresión fue poca al ver que TODO estaba cubierto por nieve, es decir que no solo estaba en un planeta donde la mayoría de la superficie era agua, tambien existían esta pequeñas areas con nieve y BASTANTE frías.

Al caminar un poco vi que había una nueva barra de supervivencia y esta indicaba el frio que podías resistir, adicional a esto en esta parte del planeta existen las tormentas las cuales son acompañadas de fuerte granizado y potentes rayos, estas le dan una ambientación bastante buena al contexto de la situación y por todo lo que pasa nuestro personaje en su investigación.

JUGABILIDAD

Si hacemos una comparación con la parte 1, hay cambios bastantes notables, como la nueva barra de temperatura que afecta al personaje, haciendo que por cada momento que estes en la superficie esta baje haciendo que se congele y pueda morir, por otra parte, la diversidad de fauna y flora del lugar asi como los nuevos retos hacen de subnautica 2 una experiencia bastante disfrutable para los amantes de los juegos de supervivencia y de subnautica 1.

Según me informe estoy buscando una expedición perdida, asi que me imaginaba que el planeta estaba solo, pero al explorar un poco el terreno me di cuenta que había desde flores que te calientan (haciendo que el medidor de temperatura se eleve) hasta una señora (por llamarla de alguna forma, que nos exige alejarnos de su territorio.

Por otra parte, me pude dar cuenta (no se fue por mi experiencia previa a este juego), que pude reunir recursos mucho más facil que empezando por primera vez este juego (lo cual lo considero bueno, ya que deja de ser tedioso pasar largas horas tratando de conseguir algún material). Otra de las cosas que más me gusto es que al empezar la partida tenemos que ir en busca de la capsula (base) que nos trajimos del espacio, está en comparación al salvavidas que teníamos al empezar subnautica 1 la siendo más actualizada, fresca y eficiente, sin contar que a simple viste es bastante bonita.

Hasta ahora mis progresos en el juego van más allá de 1 hora (llegando a las dos), sin embargo, ya tengo 2 transportes básicos (los cuales me encantan), el primero es el deslizador el cual no cambia en nada dese la primera entrega, sin embargo, el segundo transporte es ¡GENIAL!

Ofrece una amplia vista al exterior, haciendo de la exploración un proceso mucho más amplio, eficiente y cómodo al estar enfrente de esta nave y por lo tanto mucho más disfrutable.

En resumen, hasta ahora lo poco que he jugado de subnautica me a encantado, pienso que merece mucho la pena jugarlo y si jugaste la parte 1 de este juego sin duda lo podrás disfrutar, sobre todo por la historia que cambia y no se repite a la entrega uno (por lo menos de momento), por otro lado la variedad de criaturas y plantas marinas asi como materiales proporciona ese toque fresco y actualizado que da gusto ver, disfrutar y descubrir, haciendo de subnautica dos un juego para pasar un buen rato , y con estas criaturas extraterrestres pingüinos me despido, gracias por pasarte por aquí, no te olvides de Votar, Comentar y Compartir, hasta una próxima aventura amigo Gamer.
