Plain sugar cookies for dinner: Ulog#12
My ulog#11 was about baking chocolate crinkles for my little cookie monster ( my grandson).
Today, I had baked plain sugar cookies for my youngest child, she wanted to eat cookies on her dinner. This is a plain cookie, so I put nips candy on top to add colors.
Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter softened
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 egg
Procedure:
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder.
Put sugar and butter in a mixing bowl cream them together, add egg and vanilla continue beating until smooth.
Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
Continue beating until the mixture becomes incorporates.
Scoop teaspoonful of dough and place onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 5-7 minutes in a preheated oven until golden brown. Let stand in the baking sheet two minutes before removing it.
Our Barangay been alerted of the news that there is someone living near my place, been positive of covid19. She have been working as a call center agent in Manila. Expecting that our barangay will be on lockdown community status again.
