A glimpse of what happened on February 14th.

When I became a mother, it was a given that my little one now becomes the apple of my eye, the very subject of my attention anytime, anywhere. And I know every parent in this generation will agree that we all have a hard time deleting photos of our children even if every single one of them looks similar.

On February 14, my husband and I decided to stay at Red Picnic Hostel. It was a short staycation, we have a lot of things to celebrate, my birthday on the 31st of January, my husband's birthday on the 18th, hearts' day on that day, and our wedding anniversary on the 24th. Well, actually, I am not sure if we will be going somewhere again for our wedding anniversary but we just considered that staycation as an advance get away with just the three of us.

Matti enjoys playing and swimming in the pool. On my birthday, when we went to Anda Pearl, he would not want to get out of the water so that's why when we were searching for a place to stay, one of the considerations was that it must have a pool for the little one to enjoy.

It was rainy the entire stay but we can't wait for it to stop so we went in even if it was raining. Matti of course had a blast! We took photos of him before getting wet. He was definitely excited but was showing us an angry face as he already wanted to go and I was still taking my time. He could see the pool from our room's veranda and he couldn't wait!

Good thing there were only a few guests at the pool area and when they went to their room, we had it all to ourselves.

The last two photos show Matti at this Shawarma place called My Friend, Shawarma just a few minutes away from the hostel. We had lunch there and surprisingly, Matti liked Pita bread! I guess I should learn to cook that flatbread soon! That restaurant was really cozy with their furniture all made of wood!
