On our first official day in Seoul, looking for the best money exchanger was our first priority! I remember we brought dollars instead of pesos because someone had advised us that it is better that way. But we got a few won from the Mactan airport before we took off. According to my research, the best money exchanger is in Myeongdong. Because our Discover Seoul Pass was a failure, I requested for a refund from Klook that day and we went ahead with altering our itinerary.

Petercat Hotel was where we stayed during the entire five day vacation. We opt this because it is just walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace and it also is a value for money plus it was referred to us by our friends too who stayed there during their trip.

We bought T-money card at a convenience store just nearby our hotel and since there are nearby bus stops near the hotel, we took the bus instead. In fact, during the Seoul trip, we usually take the bus instead of the subway. As for the navigation application, we used Naver. It was the first time that I had used it because for some reasons, Google Maps was not very helpful there.

Getting a bus in Seoul was very convenient plus because of the cold weather, we find it as our comfort place, it was warm inside. So we took a bus from the hotel to Myeongdong Market. It was super fun getting into this part of the city. There were so many shops and stores all over the place and so before we found the money exchanger, we took our time taking photos first.

There's more to see in Myeongdong and it is very famous for its street foods too! We came back here and took photos too of its night market! But again, it is very famous for beauty brands and stores. That was where we found a huge Daiso building, there's also Lotte, and Shinsegae so if you are into shopping, you won't want to miss this. Also, Seoul got a lot of underground stores too!

In the series of photos here, I got my husband as my subject in most of the images, he sure had fun posing. As much as possible, I like taking candid shots so although he knew that I was taking photos, he won't look at me directly.
