What i got spending 100k Starbits on Rising Star Drum Crafting

The thing I love most about the Rising Star game is its promotion of independent musicians.

The second thing I like about Rising Star is the multiple ways to play the game...

Drum Crafting

Within the game, there is a side game called Custom Shop. In this section of Rising Star you can spend 1000 Starbits, wait 5 minutes, and get "parts" to build special NFT's that are collectable and sellable. There are three options: Drum Fair, Guitar Fair, and Production Fair

I decided to go all in on Drum Fair. I am a Starbits Millionaire so I can do a special mission everyday to get 10,000 starbits. This is what I used to do the missions.

Here's the parts I got for 100,000 Starbits:

Drumbody 1 (3)
Drumbody 2 (9)
Drumbody 3 (12)
Goldstands (1)
Chromestands (18)
Goldrims (1)
Blackrims (8)
Chromerims (10)
Goldcymbals (3)
Silvercymbals (35)

With these parts (which are not tradeable) you can choose which drum NFT you want to craft. Once crafted, you own it. You can either keep it as part of your collection or sell it on the market place.

You can see that the rarest card to craft is made with Drumbody 1, Goldstands, Goldrims, and Goldcymbals.

There have only been 3 minted so far and none are for sale

Can I profit from the Custom Shop?

Part of the reason I kept track of the stats was so I could determine a fair market value for selling these NFT's to collectors who don't want to do the missions.

The more common Drum NFT's are not really worth selling because they are not as rare. The real marketable NFT's are the ones with gold parts.

Knowing the RSTAR D1111 is the most rare and also cost me 100,000 STARBITS to collect the parts. I believe a price of 130k Starbits or more is fair price.

Wow. That was really lucky, getting 2 x 1s in just 100K Starbits. I spent way more than that and never got a single 1. I gave up crafting them as it was cheaper to buy them from the market.

Right now your strategy sounds like it's working well for you. If you keep getting golds I'd keep going for it. That's way more fun than buying them. 😊
