Last January when I bought sardines for our dogs food at our neighbor's store, I had the opportunity chatting with the owner. She also let me visit her showroom for her gowns for rent for weddings, for beauty pageants and school proms. Then, instantly something pop into my mine, I asked her, "so you need wedding bouquet every time someone rents the gown for wedding?" "Yes, Ate," she answered. I told her I will make crocheted wedding bouquet. She told me,"that's a good idea, Ate, and that's unique! Please make a sample, with red roses."

When I went home, I did a research first. I asked @rowee22 what is the best yarn to use for wedding bouquet, she suggested 5ply milk cotton is nice to use. Then, I pm a wedding planner how much usually the cost of fresh flower for wedding bouquet, she said around 65 hives and there is also for rent about 21 hives. When the wedding planner knew about my plan to crochet wedding bouquet. She is interested and told me to push my sample and send her the picture because she have an April wedding coming up with olive green and white is the color theme.

With this knowledge I order right away 5ply milk cotton from shoppee and was glad it was delivered by the Shoppee Rider last February 09.

I was still busy with my Crocheted Ju Rich Sandals at the time, so, I just set aside the yarns.

When I finished sending some sandals to my daughters in Olongapo City thats the time I have the time for the flowers. I searched YouTube and Pinterest for tutorial, I started making the white flowers.

But I was not satisfied with the tutorial because it uses too much yarns. I frogged how many times.

I set aside the white flower and focus on the red flowers using the patterns I saw in Pinterest.

Then, I started making the horn or the holder of the flowers. I also having a hard time completing the whole horn even reading the pattern, so, result I frogged and frogged again and again I almost surrender because my work always became wavey.

I think it over and over again, wavey means more number of stitches. Result I did not follow the pattern.

After finishing I noticed that my work was heavy, it flopped. My solution was to cut a pizza cardboard I kept.

Then, I started the base for the flowers. I also frogged and frogged until I really got the shape I wanted. Then sew the 19 roses arranging closely.

When I stuffed the holder with bubble wraps that I cut into pieces, still it was thin it can't carry the 19 roses because the flowers were heavy so I made a big holder,

Sew and stuff it also. Then, glued the circle cardboard unto bottom holder then sew the portion with flowers. I searched for the pearls that I plan as accessories but I only got the medium size pearls, so, I just glued on the roses as scattered. Wallah! I have a friday finished object but only 99% because it lacks small pearls I am going to sew on the green mesh and place an attractive ribbon on the holder. I must go to the mall and buy them.

Hello, Sis @jurich60! I appreciate your crocheted roses; they're very appealing. I have an idea to help you address your problem. I made satin ribbon rose posies embellished with pearls. If you want, you can add these to your crocheted roses to give them a unique look. 💖💞🌷🌹

You can alternate them. You can use pearls in group as asters.

Wow! Very unique and scrupulously done. I've seen brides using crocheted bouquets for their wedding specially in our temple. I think it's very cool and beautiful.
I love the outcome of your bouquet. I bet the white one's will be more elegant specially if you add pearls and stones like swarovski crystals.
Panalo!♥️♥️♥️
