NeedleWorkMonday: My Latest Crochet Project, Ju Rich Classy Ensemble

Hello everybody,

This is my latest crochet project done, Ju Rich Classy Ensemble...meaning 3 items in one order - A bag, a sandal plus hair scrunchie.

This are orders of my 2nd daughter, she was the one to order the Bulky Chenille through Lazada. Last March 12 she personal message me that the yarns arrived already, timely my hubby need to get his present, a wristwatch from my daughter, so we travelled to Lapu-lapu City on that day. Funny thing happened, we were in a hurry it was almost lunch, I placed my hooks in the basket I always carry in the Van. When we were travelling,it was traffic, time to crochet for me to pass the time. Oh, no! I found out, I brought many crochet hooks but no yarns! I was really disappointed

Ahahaha, I just rest my hands and focus on our travel. When we arrived in Lapu-Lapu City, that was the time, I have the bulky chenille on hand. I was about to crochet but hubby told me to refrain from crocheting when travelling. Okey! Hmp...

Our travel that day was safe we arrived late night. The following day after doing household chores, I right away strated crocheting for the Sandal size 9. Then, when I checked my button stocks, oh oh, no more, it was good I have pearls, so, I sewed the pearls instead. I was amazed with the result, the sandals became classy.

After finishing, I let my grandson sent the sandals to the factory for finishing with the sole.

Then, I started the bag, making the base using tiny cord 3 x 12 inches.

When I was on the 6th round body of the bag, I realized that the base was so big, so...I frogged it all!

And, reduced the base into 10 inches only.

After 12 rounds, I consumed 2 balls of the bulky chenille, I changed to tiny cord using half double crochet stitch and back single crochet for the last round and weave ends.

Next I attached the silver circular handle...

Then, fold the sides of the bag to achieved the bag shape and inserted the ribbon style chain with pearls at the end.

The bag was done. Still have extra bulky chenille so, I made the hair scrunchie.

Note: I was supposed to post this on Monday but my time didn't allow it, busy with my laundry and the ever endless housechores.
