Hey everyone,

I've been working pretty hard the last few weeks between school semesters. I put up my new website, published a chapbook of poetry, sent out applications for shows, and wrote a whitepaper for my artist token. This is a time of a lot of hard work behind the scenes to set a foundation for myself. I have a vision I want to create and I want to pursue it wholeheartedly. It might be some time before the work of this year bears fruit but I'm so proud of all the work I'm doing.

I wasn't going to do this work of setting myself up in my artist career until maybe year 4 in school. But so many things have happened in the last year that have made me a bit wiser. So even though it's only my sophomore year, I'm going hard. I'm still in rehabilitation for my brain injury so I have to balance things, but I'm going to keep working at it. There is no perfect point in my healing to open myself back up to the world so I will do the best I can every day.

I released some prints on NFT Showroom and OpenSea (Ethereum) of the individual Spellcasting poems. I released the first half of the poems on OpenSea/Ethereum and the second half are being released on HIVE through NFT Showroom. Both blockchains also include an extra special print. Currently, because of ETH gas prices only some of the Hive ones are for sale. I placed them at about $10 USD each. This is quite a bit above most NFT Showroom art. There's a lot of very beautiful art going for much cheaper but for my work, I intend to have comparable prices across all editions of the work. I intend to sell them for about $10 each on Ethereum and I would definitely sell physical prints for at least $10. Pricing is a complicated thing as an artist, but I believe HIVE to be just as valuable as Ethereum and so I don't believe I will be doing the network a favour in the longterm by underpricing my HIVE editions.

I woke up to a sweet foggy morning today and I'm about to go have my breakfast so I hope everyone is doing well. I'm excited for the things coming up and I'm so excited to be finishing projects for the first time in a long time, thanks to brain rehabilitation. It's changed my life and I'm grateful every day.
