Water plants in Aquascape

Hi Hive Lovers

I really love everything related to aquatic life. Apart from my fishing hobby, the life of the water world seems to have drugged me, and I can never escape from it.

One way I show my appreciation for the water world is by incorporating it into my home—not in an aquarium, but in an aquascape.

Aquariums only focus on the fish in them, but aquascapes are very different from aquariums. Aquascape is more than the beauty displayed by ornamental fish in an aquarium.

Aquascaping is about aesthetics, and the inner satisfaction you will get will far exceed what an ordinary aquarium can provide.

I once posted an article about Aquascape, which contains mini shrimp, and you can see it again at this link.

Aquascaping is the art of decorating an aquarium by creating a miniature, lifelike freshwater ecosystem. Ornamental fish are just a great addition and complement to this mini ecosystem.

Moving the original ecosystem into the aquarium really requires special skills because it requires the ability to combine the placement of stone, wood, and plant objects in the water to create a mini ecosystem.

Aquatic plants are one of the most important elements for maintaining life in this mini-ecosystem so that it remains stable and healthy so as to have an attractive aquascape.

()

Aquaculture relies on water plants for balance. These aquatic plants will increase the absorption of abundant or excessive CO2 produced by fish feed residues and fish waste.

Aquatic plants in an aquascape will distribute heat and release O2 into the water. Water that is rich in O2 content in this mini-ecosystem will provide a stable and healthy environment for fish life, so it's not just about being beautiful to the eye.

Arranging an aquarium into an aquascape really brings a high level of inner satisfaction, and only people who put their hearts into it can do it.

This is new information to me. I just know aquarium but not aquascape. Thanks for sharing this knowledge. And also, reading your article makes me appreciate your aquascaping. That takes an effort to be that beautiful... And how you maintain the ecosystem. Good job. 👏

Thank you for your attention and kindness, @phoenixwren.
I have a few in there, including: Amazon Sword, Cryptocoryne Pontederiifolia, and Beckettii Petchii, and Hygrophila Polysperma.
It looks like you also have an Aquascape, is that true?

Yeah but more of an aquarium than an aquascape. :) I have Amazon sword, a large Anubias and two Anubias nana petite, marimo moss balls, cryptocoryne parva, pothos, lucky bamboo, spider plant, and red root floaters (tho they have struggled hard and there are only a few left atm; I hope they make a comeback!).

Since I chose slow growers I am waiting for them to fill in.
