Fireflies and Cotton Candy | A Fractal Rendering Project

Lately, I've experimented with combining two or more different digital fractal images to see the resulting effect each one has on the other's mood. I've discovered that many of the fractal I design with Apophysis 2.09 Fractal Rendering program work well together and seem to be interconnected. With the weight of the algorithm set to 100 and above.

How I created my "Fireflies and Cotton Candy" Fractal Digital Art:

Apophysis 2.09 is a Windows application that is open sourced and utilized for rendering fractal flames through algorithms. This program can also design and edit a prior rendered fractal flame.

Here is primary fractal design. It's an interesting image in that it looks like cotton candy on a ring. I remember eating this as a child. The candy portion was round and sat atop a circle.

All you needed to enjoy the candy was to place the ring on your finger and suck the top candy portion. Sounds ridiculous, but we loved it. And you could get different flavors, including sour. What nice memories some of these fractal images bring to mind.

I added the following two fractal images I designed to hopefully create the unified design. The two fractals chosen contained shades of blue found in the original image. I thought they blended well together. However, the black background provided the clarity for all the fractal images.

Pulling it all together:

The last stage of my fractal drawing design needed the assistance of another program. I turned to Canva. Utilizing Canva as a design program means I have numerous tools at my disposal, such as resizing, animation, background removal, and filters. The design canvas is perfect for creating a unified appearance to your drawing.
