For The Pangolins - ZAPFIC50 MONDAY (8/21/23) | Prompt: platform (plataforma) [Eng/Esp]
It's time for the ZAPFIC50 Monday challenge. This new challenge by @felt-buzz. presented the opportunity to explore the prompt this week "platform". I've always thought of the word as being a mouthpiece, a space where a person can present their views or get their message across to a wider audience.
My story is below:
The last Pangolin pair peered from the bush.
The scene unfolded. Poachers ambushed preservationists, as they broadcasted efforts to the WWF.
Although frightened, they huddled but the valuable meat they possessed was protected from predators by their scales as nature intended.
They could not escape their most dangerous predator: Man.

A continuación mi historia.
Por los pangolines
La última pareja de pangolines se asomó desde la maleza.
La escena se desarrollaba. Los cazadores furtivos tendieron una emboscada a los conservacionistas, mientras transmitían sus esfuerzos al WWF.
Aunque asustados, se acurrucaron, pero la valiosa carne que poseían estaba protegida de los depredadores por sus escamas, como pretendía la naturaleza.
No pudieron escapar de su depredador más peligroso: El hombre.
