Student involved in online pranks and mischief often don't stop to realize the hurt and damage this may cause to others. Not all students have the temperament to defend or speak up for themselves. Dire consequences can occur. With social media, mischief can spread like wildfire within minutes with no retraction. The damage has been done. They never stop to think what would happen if the same were done to them. I share a microfiction story that's a ZAPFIC for the prompt "murmur of conversation". A ZAPFIC50 story is told in exactly 50 words. The challenge was created by @felt.buzz.

Below is my story.
Discovering the culprit, ShellyAnne shut her locker, then walked up to Bobby and slapped him.
Was he shocked? Yes.
Surprised? Shouldn't have been.
Embarrassed? With his sports buddies watching, definitely!
You could hear a murmur of conversation among teachers down the hall.
Bobby's friends immediately deleted ShellyAnne's photo he sent.
