My Life In Color on Blue Monday In All It's Shades Of Feelings (11/29/21) | HIGHLIGHTING THE COLOR FOR THE DAY

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of My Life In Color - Highlighting the Color For the Day. When you think about it, color is all around us, in nature, under water, in landscape, and in the sky. We only have to slow down our busy lives and look around us. As I've reiterated, the idea for a challenge based on colors assigned to each day is not new. It was the concept of @kalemandra.

Unfortunately, she is no longer operating on Hive. I participated in numerous days, providing color images. Since I love digital drawings, I decided to create my own version of the colors assigned to different days. It's not a challenge. I'm only sharing with you at times my collection of personal photos and digital drawing images.

Today is Monday. I'll be sharing my images with the Color: Blue, and all its shades. My choice of colors are found in my color chart below in which I assigned a different day of the week with a particular color or color blend.

In locating the color for today, I searched through numerous photographs I captured myself and digital drawings I created with online digital drawing programs.

Photographs

On a recent outing, I visited a popular restaurant where some seating was outside if you preferred. We did just that on the balcony overlooking the bay. I thought I'd have enough light, however, our seats were under the rafters. Just as I was about to eat, a blackbird visited and perched itself on the wood rails. My intent was not so much to capture the bird, but to capture the sky in the background. The left side of the bird showing dark is the wood post.

Digital Drawings

Apophysis 2.09

These digital drawings I created with the fractal program, Apophysis 2.09. It's fractal rendering software that creates digital images from mathematical coordinates that produce flames.

Bomomo

Bomomo is an online drawing software that produces abstract art. The unique drawing tools provide a set of specific patterns with varying colors that change on different moves. Some of the tool are a bit difficult to control, so you can't predict the outcome. You will, however, be able to produce images in the form of circles, diagrams, hexagons, and other patterns. It's a truly fun program to work with. An added bonus is that all images are rendered transparent, so you can utilize them in other programs with ease.

My first image is a nice combination of all the shades of blue. I had no idea this image would be created when I began using the abstract drawing circle tool. Then I switched to an alternate tool that produces hexagon shapes.

My second abstract image is combination of tools that produced soft and dynamic shades of blue.
