My Life In Color on New Year's Day in Gold and Brilliant Yellow Sunday | HIGHLIGHTING THE COLOR FOR THE DAY

It's New Year's Day somewhere around the world according to UTC time Fireworks will light up the sky in celebration of the coming New Year 2023. We're not allowed to personally pop firecrackers the night before on New Year's Eve due to safety concerns in our city. However, we do enjoy the skyline lit with magical bursts of color in our annual fireworks display.

The idea for My Life In Color - Highlighting the Color For the Day evolved from a challenge based on colors assigned to each day that was the concept of a former Hive member. I decided to create my own version. It's not a challenge; just sharing many of my personal photos and digital drawing images in my collection.

With that said, today is January 1st - New Years Day. I'll be sharing all colors of the spectrum that's gold and brilliant yellow. My choice of colors are found in my color chart below in which I assigned a different day of the week with a particular color or color blend.

I've read numerous times how colors affect our lives and how we navigate toward certain hues due to perception. This has been done for thousands of years. In different societies, an array of colors are adapted for specific customs.

According to colorpsychology, yellow is a primary color. It sits between orange and green on the color wheel. Being associated with the sun, it stands for optimism, joy, enlightenment, but also for duplicity, cowardice, betrayal. Colors that relate to yellow are yellow-green and orange. ¹

When I think of the color yellow and gold in my daily life, I don't decorate with yellow, but do add hues of gold. I also love gold in my apparel.

Nvidia Gaugan

Nvidia Gaugan is a generative art program. On a blank canvas, you can draw beautiful landscapes in any form you wish. Elements such as water, sky, trees, clouds, and mountains can be produced with the tools provided. With the upgraded version, can now utilize text prompts.

However, I wanted to share an image that depicts my version of New Year's Eve and the fireworks display I envision. The program produced an amazing image that's full of color.

Apophysis 2.09

Apophysis is a software that produces fractal art by rendering its iterations. The resulting art is some of the most ethereal and beautiful to behold. It can be interpreted differently by each individual.

My pure fractals I create are just breathtaking. I'm sharing three images with the yellow and gold colors.

Stable Diffusion

When we talk about generative art, other types of program I utilize deal with Stable Diffusion. I recently discovered this type of software and have been producing beautiful art mages. Stable Diffusion software utilizes text prompt to produce images.

One of the programs I utilize is Night Cafe. For example, with the image below, here is the process I used:

Text Prompt:
"By the fiery twilight of the ancient city, we navigated our way home through the waters by guidance of the one holding the lantern."

Result:
I feel that the diffusion software took my words and transformed them into magical scenes. In this art piece, I can see the elders waiting. They're probably guiding individuals with their lamp. People can look to the sky and follow the lantern to a place of rest.

Bomomo

Bomomo is an online drawing software that produces abstract art. The unique drawing tools provide a set of specific patterns with varying colors. You can create images in numerous dimensions, such circles, diagrams, hexagons, and other unique patterns.
