Omnipotent Being in Female - No. 2 | (Eugenia - Chapter 1)

DDG-AlienWorld.jpg

The country of Kyaco. A modest, but dense rain forest unaware of the seasons, supports a growing population of 2,538,674 humans. Of those, half are ancient people known to be original to the land. Tall mountains to the north, lush wet forests to the south, and unknown outskirts to the west, Kyaco is a naturally sustaining environment that is conducive to the wealth and health of all living creatures.

At night, from atop the tallest trees, the iridescent landscape shifts as clouds part to reveal a shimmering array of auburn, emerald, and gold colors intertwined as they weave through the branches made possible by fireflies chasing each other in ecstacy.

Not only is Kyaco's landscape alluring, it's ethereal as well.

The area to the south is blanketed with a lush emerald forest canopy supported by a mild, humid climate. An array of vegetation and wildlife makes this country its habitat. Exotic animals forage freely.

Wealth by way of natural resources that are conducive to long health is enjoyed by the people. Bartering and a handshake are all that is needed to secure transactions among the people. Trust is embedded in their society.

Outsiders are welcome who agree to live in unity and uphold the few laws in place, one which reigns supreme: love thy neighbor as thyself.

Untainted by outside influences, the country prospers.

Situated in the northern part of the kingdom, the current ruler of Kyaco, King Sebastian, follows in his ancestors' paths. All rising to power from humble roots in Kyaco, he draws his wisdom from his elders.

He's committed to a peaceful and thriving country. He's handsome and slim, but sturdy build. Merry eyes and a long beard on the cusp of aging.

He adores the patterns in the color of the Kyaco's crest, tailored by the country's most skillful tailors. Adorned in regal attire, he commands from the castle the people eagerly constructed and wisely named by consensus, "The People's Castle".

Five round towers stand low, but sturdy. Solid walls molded from light brown stone solidify the castle. Elegant windows are set to capture the evening sun and morning glow. A chestnut colored stone wall stands forcefully on each side of the entrance. Large steps lead to massive arched shaped doors.

Stone images of a thousand warriors honored for their bravery and commitment stand on the outer rim.

One giant tree carefully relocated from the rain forest rests close to the castle and reminds them of their connection and commitment to their natural resources.

Inside the Great Hall, several stained glass windows depicting workers tending to the rain forest and its inhabitants line each side of the walls. The country's official crest, woven in gold, emerald, and bronze, hangs above the throne.

A large imported rug runs up through the center of the hall, then gives way to two smaller ones veering toward rooms behind the throne.

One room accepts citizens who visit to receive wisdom; the other receives those who wish to register complaints or grievances and receive a form of arbitration leading to reconciliation.

Inviting his countrymen every thirty days to feast and receive shares of bounty for their families, they admire the work from their hands, never tiring of the illustration of the rain forest, as seen from the sky, dance on the ceiling in the flickering evening light.

The King is accessible to all this people. They speak kindly of this place and gladly bring gifts of worship to The Gentle Throne.

That is the castle where King Sebastian rules for eighty years with a strong, but gentle hand in this seat of authority graciously awarded by his people.

Kyaco has endured a millennium of peaceful existence.

In the final year of King Sebastian's reign, outsiders not well known to the kingdom, gained entrance into the kingdom.

Seeking an audience with the King, they appeared with gifts and kind gestures. Accepting the country's rules, these foreigners dwelt among the people.

Of special interest to the foreigners was the King's son, Prince Kenai. Realizing he was the future and key to their success, private meetings were arranged and held outside the castle walls.

Intrigued with the news of advancements in other countries, he listened with enthusiasm new ideas and techniques in labor management.

Excited to bring new world ideas to his country when he would rule, he formulated the radical ideas into a palatable recommendation his father could adopt.

The Great Hall was festive. Prince Kenai, only eighteen years, entered, bowed, then held his position. Not required, but as a sign of deep respect. The affinity between father and son was evident.

Smiling, King Sebastian beckoned him to approach.

Kenai presented his proposal to the King.

"Outrageous! Where did you learn such cruel and inhumane policies?" King Sebastian sat upright as best he could. He moved his hair away from his forehead. His heart beat faster; his lips, thin and firm, until face flushed.

The court physicians rushed to his side. Administering medicines, the King recovered not only from his near destiny with his ancestors, but from the influence his son couldn't seem to resist.

These are not my teachings, he thought quickly. I must squash them immediately. "Bring these troublemakers before me."

Shortly after, the foreigners appeared. Standing before the King, they explained their proposal and how it would benefit his country.

Unbeknownst to Kenai and the King, these foreigners were restless, fearless mercenaries with a desire for adventure. They left their own country. Peace was foreign to these foreigners. They sought to destroy. The downfall of Kyaco was their ultimate goal.

Their ideas of a distinct caste system were promoted and backed by the foreign countries bent on destruction of a peaceful and democratic society.

Immediately, King Sebastian commanded, "remove these foreigners to answer for inciting troubles in Kyaco."

Before the guard escorted them from the hall, one mercenary broke free and yelled, "there's already distrust and chaos in the kingdom. Your ways of ruling are outdated. The people want a new ruler, one who'll allow them to handle their own affairs. No more foreigners given the same privileges and earning the same wages!"

The King surveyed the crowd in attendance. Whispers grew to shouts as outright condemnation of his rule stared him squarely in the face.

But another mercenary shouted, "I have proof you will relent and let the people rule themselves. Otherwise, you will be replaced. My pocket holds the words I heard in the villages then recorded by hand."

From his pocket, the guards delivered the handwritten scroll to King Sebastian then removed the mercenaries from court.

Standing quietly by his father's side, Prince Kenai read the words from the paper:

It shall be on the day that the rains of autumn push against our shores, rushing into the temple. On that day, the sun will not set, neither will the dawn rise.

Those who banished us shall come by the thousands seeking refuge.

Our help they detest, for they fear us. But our help they will beg, for we are the only salvation of this land. On that day, one shall rise in love's embrace to rule the land that is Kyaco.

rinreMr4T-dividerline-Resized.png

"Liars. My people didn't speak these words. What is this foreboding? Where does it come from? I don't understand. I've heard none of my people unhappy. Banish! why would I order such a thing? I must reassure the people at once." Confused, King Sebastian fell back on his throne.

The next day, the King spoke with people from the castle grounds.

"My people. I tell you that I reject such ideas now and in the future as evil. And I forbid my heir to speak of it ever again."

Life settled back into calm.

This was Kyaco in the days known by the world as The Aeon of Beauty.

But King Sebastian was old, his health was failing, and his heir bid his time.

A Stable Diffusion Art Project

In approaching my current stable diffusion project, I decided to begin a second series of art images that dealt with powerful women I titled: "Omnipotent Being in Female". My second female in this series is Eugenia. In creating Eugenia, I wanted to portray a beautiful African princess. Her story is one who rises to power to defeat an oppressive dictator ruling in a beautiful land.

This second series of Omnipotent Being in Female is a bit different from my first in that these art images will be entirely from stable diffusion or generative art. The images will depict women in various settings who deal with issues in their realm.

Eugenia is a multi-part story. Part 1 above depicts the land of Kyaco, a beautiful rain forest.

Please stay tuned for Part 2 and beyond as Eugenia comes into her own in a land desperately requiring the gifts she have to offer.

To create the Rain Forest of Kyaco, I wanted to showcase my pure fractal I created in Apophysis 2.09, a fractal rendering software. Don't know why at the time I decided to title it "Funeral Spray". Isn't it lovely? This fractal truly resembles a burst of colors you'd find in a rain forest setting.

This fractal I used as my base image to transform it into a lush rain forest.

After rendering the fractal, I utilized the stable diffusion option in the photo filtering program, Deep Dream Generator.

Here are my steps:

Deep Dream Generator Text input:
"A Brand New Ancient Alien Land of Spiralling Creativity and Unnatural Concepts, a couple is walking on a path, by Salvador Dali, Peter Gric, Ivan Shishkin and Dan Mumford, Flowing Energy, Deep Colours, Polished, Masterful Surrealism, Photorealistic, cel-shaded, digital illustration, unreal engine, 8k, high definition, crisp quality".

Castle was created in Nvidia Gaugan, a generative art program. With this type of software, the program records your brushstrokes as you paint them onto the canvas. You decided from a set of tools how your landscape will look. It's nice to work with as you can include sky, land elements such as rocks, water, trees, and other object in your final image. Your image is then rendered and final output is viewed on the right-hand side of the screen."
