Paying for a Professional Opinion | ZAPFIC MONDAY (Week #46) | (9/12/22) - Prompt: fireplace
It's time for the ZAPFIC Monday challenge for Week #46. The prompt this week "fireplace" presented the opportunity to discuss an issue I heard about from a friend. Although paying for an inspection should ensure that you're worry free when purchasing an older home, things can still go wrong and must be checked before use in some instances.
My story is below:
The Watkins was thrilled to locate a older home in their preferred style.
They closed upon inspection.
The fireplace surround sealed the deal.
On first use, they lit kindling. Heavy soot flew out.
They discovered the firebox top malfunctioned.

Hello. Thanks for your visit. I appreciate the kind words. I spent time learning formatting. It's been a while, so I feel the need to update my footer with current projects I'm involved in.
