The Menagerie
I retreat to my darkroom.
When thoughts lead down a path I hadn't considered, I allow this to happen.
Feeling one hundred percent? No.
You won't find negative processing under the light.
You won't find hundreds of photos on the surrounding walls.
What you will find is a lone desk.
But to keep it company, a single, high-back chair with rough armrests sits perfectly in the middle of the room.
A journal with pen neatly placed to its left side is anxiously waiting. Its pages are bare. Emptiness bides its time.
Before I began my journey, I stared once more at the oscillating wall.
His eyes stare back. They lure me in.
A betrayal, but I can't resist.
It's time to release and let go.
When I wake, a hole in the bottomless vale.
I lean over and spew the night's feast.
As I stagger toward the blinding rays, the vision devours my thoughts.
It hurts.
I retreat to my darkroom.
This current project I derived from a combination of my four pure fractal art images and a generative art piece from Wombo Dream. Utilized the following text input, I was delighted to receive the image I envisioned as someone giving thanks in prayer.

Image manipulation and enhancement:
Utilizing Canva, I was able to blend the fractals and the Wombo Dream piece. In this project, I utilized the dream as a background for my fractals.
This is my first version of the the project I titled, "The Menagerie". You can see vividly the background of the Wombo art. It resembles an ethereal temple.
