Visions In the Dark | LMAC FreeStyle Collage No. 153

LMAC-FreeStyle-No153-VisionsInTheDark.jpg

Hello LMAC and Hive members. I wanted to share with you my current freestyle collage whose theme entails the watchers after dark. Often, after dark is a scary situation when venturing into an unfamiliar environment.

For those not accustomed to venturing out at night such as myself, I conjure up all types of mishaps that might occur. Among those mishaps are unsavory individuals or animals meant to do me harm. Those feelings are intensified in the dark. I can only imagine being stranded and help isn't available, such as you vehicle breaking down alongside a road.

Now, I'm venturing into a short story fiction as I usually do when imagining certain scenarios and visions just around the next corner or behind you. But I'll save that for another design.

My style of collage is a Freestyle. Although I usually do, I wasn't required to utilize any contest photo in my design. However, if you'd like to join in visit: # Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 246 - ✨50 HIVE in the Prize Pool!.

In preparing my theme, I envisioned incorporating various elements that represent the nighttime environment. Of course, scary sounds are prominent. Spider webs that one might run into are an easy element to incorporate into the design.

I utilized one of my pure fractals to represent this. My particular fractal, however, has several different colors. Another free-sourced image I used to represent a gigantic web was a plaited rope. Imagine getting caught in that and sensing what arachnid would come rushing out to greet you. Scary, to say the least. For the eye, I wanted it to flow red.

I utilized Canva to blend the different type images. Below are my steps in which I began with a blank, white canvas, then added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, detaching elements from their backgrounds, resizing, duplicating, colorizing, and repositioning items as needed incorporating the tools at my disposal in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription.

Heterogeneous images that evoke not only darkness, but also the lurking fear, what lies hidden in our minds. Regards, @justclickindiva

But I saw that beautiful woman, her skin walking in beauty with the night, in there ... scary, yes ... but we would not know the moon and stars were they not held by the night! Well done!
