🀺 Monkey-B Pokes A Stick In Mud πŸ‘©β€πŸ’Ό & I Receive A Surprise Visitor At My Mobile Hive Office πŸ›Ί

It brings me great joy to know that in 2022, some kids of the world still find it fun to poke a stick into some good old mud.

My Wife Sees The Mobile Office πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»

hi.png

Β  Β  Β Many hours before my youngest daughter poked a stick in the mud, I was working in the mobile office with about an hour remaining before I had to pick the kids up. Apparently my wife got notification that her family book was ready to be collected at the police station, and also happen to be lucky enough to hitch a ride with our neighbor who was heading that way to fill propane tanks. She then walked over to surprise me, and we worked on our blogs together in the tuk-tuk until we headed to the school.

Sleepy Kiddos πŸ’€

Β  Β  Β The girls were quite excited to see that Mom would be riding back with us, but that didn't stop them from falling asleep during the first 5 minutes of the ride back home. Mey-Yii and Monkey-B fell asleep head-to-head and Srey-Yuu nodded off on the battery box.

Green Tamarind & Parathas 🍽️

parat.png

Β  Β  Β Lunch was a bit rushed when we got home because both chefs were not at home. I found 4 leftover dough balls, turned them into parathas, and the wife crushed some green tamarind and made a nice little salad. We paired that with some seitan and raw eggplant.

Β  Β  Β The above photo is the result of not being satisfied with the previous image, and a "be silly" request was made. The second attempt was much more successful, with all three ladies showing their personalities to the fullest.

Marching To Nowhere πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

stomp.png

Β  Β  Β While her sister was washing dishes, Monkey-B decided to not help by marching circles around the house. I asked her to help her sister with the dishes, and then I returned 10 minutes later to find her poking a stick in the mud, better than washing dishes by a little bit I guess. That pretty much sums up today's extraordinary events, to be continued......

a pleasant meal together, when all family members can gather together, you always have creative ideas in germinating your activities,it must be very nice to be able to do activities anywhere we want with this mobile office that you have, it's really amazing.

It may not be comfortable, but Hive and the mobile Hive office allow us to live in remote areas where the cost of living is cheaper than the cities. I am thankful this blockchain has given us the opportunity to live in the mountains and be surrounded by nature.

I saw all the pictures you showed.
I really like the sight of eating together even though the dough is leftover, and it must still be very tasty especially if your wife breaks the green tamarind to make a salad.

Yes, sometimes the dough is even better when it's fermented and become a bit sour, and eating with green tamarind makes a very sour but tasty lunch.

In the year 2022 where smart phones have dominated the lives of children almost all over the world, but in other corners of the world there are still some children living in villages who prefer traditional games as an alternative to their toys. Yes, one of them is your children my friend πŸ‘

I'm a little surprised, is it in Cambodia that if a citizen wants to take care of the family books then everything has to be done at the police station? Isn't it at the civil registry office?

Btw, the photo of your children eating with their mother is a very beautiful togetherness to see πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

I agree, it is very satisfying to see modern kids still able to play with sticks and rocks. The family books here are done at the police station, correct, but foreigners are not allowed to be in a Cambodian family book, so even though we are married, our family book doesn't have me in it. Well, the most important thing is that we know we are a family, even if no international governments recognize as one yet.

When I was young I often entertained myself by seeing how straight down the road I could kick random rocks, and also by throwing rocks at random trees as targets.

Man, I miss that simple life.

Kicking rocks is way more fun because the flight path can be very unpredictable. I used to love having left-handed rock throwing competitions when I was young, cheap and easy laughs when everyone throws like a girl with their left hand.

Haha, yes I bet! My daughter is actually left handed and I used to accuse her of throwing like a girl. "Of course I do, dad!"

Your family certainly knows how to pack many things into a day! Love the little slices-of-life that you share with us! 😁

πŸ™ Parathas and naps are among the greatest treasures in life, well at least according to my heavily biased opinion.

Kids like playing, when they are asked to do something there are always reasons to say...

Putting a stick in the mud is one the best reasons to stop doing anything πŸ˜‰.

It's been awhile since the wife come for surprise visits(like 17 years ago) πŸ˜… we used to work for the same company but different branch.

The falling asleep picture does say a lot how early they got up and being exhausted travel so far to school. We are at the similar lifestyle but totally different position. School is about 2km across the highway, but it usually take 45 minutes to get there 🀣 oh and our school officially starts at 7:30, but the teachers had made up a rule that all should be in the classroom start reading by 7. So, it's really crazy kinda lifestyle in Kuala Lumpur

The guy at the lower right, the shirt has a printing of "We simple you windows work". Not sure how that work, and wondering if Mikrosoft knows about it πŸ€”

Nevertheless, food looks ok. What matter most is the family enjoy it. Oh and glad Monkey-B likes to poke hole at the mud. Let's go to beach!

Same same but different is the saying in Cambodia. I have briefly lived in urban areas for short periods in my life, especially Paramaribo. Even on the bicycle sometimes it would take me an hour to go 5km in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I don't know KL very well, but I assume the older parts of the city have narrower roads and therefore more traffic jams. That particular street you were on is barely wide to park a car.

Cambodia is opposite, students must be at school by 7:00am, but teacher can come after 7:30am if they like 😁.
