Venezuela is characterized by having beautiful landscapes, full of culture, history and natural charm, the old mission is a park-hotel located in San Felipe-Yaracuy / Venezuela, founded in 1720 by Fray Joseph de Cadiz.

The Mission Nuestra Señora del Carmen, developed by the spirit of the Capuchin missions in Venezuela between the 15th and 18th centuries.

The Capuchin missions are assistants to the parish priests and companions of the bishops on pastoral visits.

Architecturally, it was born from colonial architecture: halls enclosed between adobe walls (uncooked brick) and ceilings of cane and tile, cool corridors and patios sheltered by leafy trees, rebuilt under the direction of the architect Claudia Rodríguez.

In the ranch we can find a chapel and a small museum that house collections of coins, old maps of colonial Venezuela, religious objects, articles of daily use manipulated by the monks, indigenous vessels and adobes; traces of a historical past dormant in the present.

Since its opening in December 1996, the PARQUE DE LA EXÓTICA FLORA TROPICAL has been a source of admiration for botanists from all over the world, due to its splendid collection of heliconia, as well as gingers, bromeliads, orchids and swamps, among other wonders. vegetables from Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

It is a tour of 4.5 kilometers which can be done on foot, in a horse-drawn cart or in electric cars in the company of a guide.

The great mission has tour guides, who tell you the history of the park, from its beginnings to the present and they explain to you about the flora, but they do it in such a fascinating way that you are completely enthralled.

I had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful park, so I will tell you about my experience!

I feel that this park has something magical, something captivating that only leaves you wanting to admire everything in its path. Somehow when you arrive at the place you feel serene and free, which makes this a truly unforgettable experience.

If you go walking it is normal that you get peacocks, monkeys, flamingos and many more animals, free and in perfect health. When we arrive, the first thing we see is an aged entrance. Inside the enclosure are the tourist guides and the payment area.

My tour was in an electric cart with a tour guide, I went with my family and I can swear to you that it is a very beautiful and enjoyable experience.

Our tour guide told us about the history of the great mision, about each plant, what we could find and warned us that plants we could not touch, because let's be honest, we do not all know about plants and then we are excited to touch or smell each plant without Knowing what they are or what effect they have, which is why a tour guide to tell you which ones are good and which ones are not is really important.

The trees that surround you have history since some are hundreds of years old and are very beautiful, you really feel in an enchanted forest, because you feel so small being surrounded by trees so big and tall.

While they ride you in the car, they make stops so you can see the place, take photos and see a little more closely.

Of course, if you want to live the experience to the fullest, you can stay at its fabulous hotel, which has swimming pools, golf courses, restaurant and walks through the nature reserve.

This is the largest natural flora park in all of Latin America.

Without a doubt I would go a thousand times again, because that place is charming and magical, because there is no other way to describe it.
