Hola amigos espero que se encuentren increíble, hace unos días me estaba acordando de una película un poco vieja que me encanta mucho, la mansión embrujada, antes la veía mucho en Disney pero luego dejaron de pasarla y no la había podido ver más, hasta ahora que me acordé que estaba en Disney plus. Por eso hoy les traigo su reseña.

Hello friends I hope you are amazing, a few days ago I was remembering a somewhat old movie that I love a lot, the haunted mansion, I used to see it a lot at Disney but then they stopped showing it and I had not been able to see it anymore, until now I remembered that it was on Disney plus. So today I bring you his review.

La mansión embrujada es una película del 2003, nos cuenta la historia de un agente de bienes raíces llamado Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) que no puede dejar ni un segundo su pasión por el trabajo, el día que Jim decide con su familia irse de viaje, surge una llamada un poco extraña, en dónde le pedían a la señora Sara Evers que fuese a ver una casa para venderla, pero que fuese sola, sin embargo la familia decide que antes de irse al viaje familiar pasarán por esa mansión, pero no demorarán más de 20 minutos.

The Haunted Mansion is a 2003 film, it tells the story of a real estate agent named Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) who cannot leave his passion for work for a second, the day Jim decides with his family to go on a trip , a somewhat strange call arises, where they ask Mrs. Sara Evers to go see a house to sell it, but to go alone, however the family decides that before going on the family trip they will go through that mansion, but not will take more than 20 minutes.

Al llegar a la mansión se dan cuenta de que hay algunas cosas fuera de lo común, como por ejemplo que tienen un cementerio en su patio, lo cual es muy extraño, pero al ser agentes de vienes raíces solo vieron los beneficios de “Un gran campo". La llegada de los Evers a la mansión tiene un objetivo muy distinto a la de vender una casa pero ellos no lo saben.

Upon arriving at the mansion they realize that there are some unusual things, such as having a cemetery in their yard, which is very strange, but being real estate agents they only saw the benefits of "A great field". The arrival of the Evers to the mansion has a very different objective than that of selling a house but they do not know it.

Algo que me gusta mucho de esta película, es la intro, o sea, mientras pasan a los actores, productores, trabajadores y demás, en la intro van contando la trágica historia de un duque y su duquesa, pero ¿Que tiene que ver esto con la película? Pues tiene todo que ver, porque ese duque es el dueño de la mansión y la trágica historia es un misterio sin resolver.

Something that I like a lot about this film is the intro, that is, while they pass the actors, producers, workers and others, in the intro they tell the tragic story of a duke and his duchess, but what does this have to do with with the movie? Well, it has everything to do with it, because that duke is the owner of the mansion and the tragic story is an unsolved mystery.

Está película me hace recordar un poco a la producción de piratas del caribe, es que me da un aire, quizás lo siento así por sus similitudes visuales. Yo siento que está es una de las mejores películas que ha sacado Disney, es más, para ser del 2003 tiene una excelente producción, ambientación e historia, cosa que algunas películas de Disney de halloween de ahora no tienen, ya que las películas nuevas de Disney están llenas de musicales y eso se vuelve tedioso, aunque no hablo de abracadabra 2, esa me encanto con todo y sus musicales porque la primera también tenía musicales, así que esa siguió su historia como debía. Pero yo hablo de películas como “Chica vs monstruo” dónde la producción es muy mala y hay muchos musicales que no tienen tanto sentido, realmente siento que poner musicales sin sentido para quitar acortar guiones o la historia a veces si no se plantea de la mejor manera no quedan bien en la película.

This film reminds me a little of the production of Pirates of the Caribbean, it gives me an air, perhaps I feel it that way because of its visual similarities. I feel that this is one of the best movies that Disney has released, what's more, for being from 2003 it has an excellent production, setting and story, something that some Disney Halloween movies of today don't have, since the new movies of Disney are full of musicals and that gets tedious, although I'm not talking about abracadabra 2, I loved that one with everything and its musicals because the first one also had musicals, so that one followed its story as it should. But I'm talking about movies like "Girl vs. monster" where the production is very bad and there are many musicals that don't make much sense, I really feel that putting on musicals makes no sense to shorten scripts or sometimes the story if it's not planned in the best way way they don't look good in the film.

Pero bueno, sigamos hablando de la mansión embrujada, las escenas de esta película son increíbles, la animación de los fantasmas, esqueletos, arañas y estatuas es algo completamente asombroso y muy hermoso de ver, realmente la producción es muy buena, los diálogos son graciosos lo cual permite que la película se disfrute de inicio a fin. Además la historia base de la película es muy buena, o sea ese argumento de; “Un duque pierde al amor de su vida de forma trágica, la soledad lo lleva a atentar contra su vida, llevándolos a ser un alma que luego de muchos años descubrirá por un volante que la señora Sara Evers de bienes raíces es la reencarnación de su amor. El duque hará todo lo posible por unir sus vidas nuevamente, pero los secretos y traiciones rondan en su mansión”

But well, let's continue talking about the haunted mansion, the scenes of this movie are incredible, the animation of the ghosts, skeletons, spiders and statues is something completely amazing and very beautiful to see, the production is really very good, the dialogues are funny which allows the film to be enjoyed from beginning to end. In addition, the base story of the film is very good, that is, that argument of; “A duke tragically loses the love of his life, loneliness leads him to make an attempt on his life, leading them to be a soul that after many years will discover from a flyer that Mrs. Sara Evers from real estate is the reincarnation of his love. The duke will do everything possible to unite their lives again, but secrets and betrayals haunt his mansion ”

Sin duda está película yo la recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, porque es muy muy buena, creo que arriba no lo dije pero el vestuario también es 10/10 la combinación de época con lo moderno del momento me parece genial, sin duda la mansión embrujada tiene muchos puntos grandiosos que se deben resaltar, tanto así que no recuerdo que tenga algo negativo llamativo y eso es fantástico.

Without a doubt, I recommend this movie with my eyes closed, because it is very very good, I think I did not say it above, but the costumes are also 10/10, the combination of the period with the modern of the moment seems great to me, without a doubt the haunted mansion It's got so many great points to make, so much so that I don't remember it having any glaring negatives, and that's fantastic.

La mansión embrujada me parece un clásico, es sumamente buena tanto así que tiene su versión con Muppets jajaja eso es cuchi.

Realmente las actuación de Eddy Murphy, Marsha Thomason, Terence Stamp, Wallace Shawn, Jennifer Tilly, Ariel Alexandria,Marc John Jefferies, Nathaniel Parker, son actuaciones fenomenales, icónicas por así, las películas viejas de Halloween de Disney son una obra de arte y ojalá intentaran hacer producciones con diálogos realmente graciosos y buenas escenas y no película de “Relleno”.

Really the performances of Eddy Murphy, Marsha Thomason, Terence Stamp, Wallace Shawn, Jennifer Tilly, Ariel Alexandria, Marc John Jefferies, Nathaniel Parker, are phenomenal performances, iconic for that matter, the old Disney Halloween movies are a work of art and I wish they would try to make productions with really funny dialogues and good scenes and not a “Filler” movie.

Por cierto, mientras hacía este post me acordé que hace un tiempo leí que Disney plus iba a sacar una nueva película de la mansión embrujada y amigos, eso es completamente cierto, se espera para el 2023 pero la historia obviamente no será la misma, aunque por lo que leí y por lo que me estoy imaginando creo que sí tienen conexión, aquí les dejo la sipnosis:

¿Quizás la nueva sea mejor que la anterior? No estoy segura pero será algo que hay que ver cuándo se estrene. Mientras tanto mi favorita por mucho será la primera.
