Greetings my creative people! A hug to all, I hope you are having a good time. Today I came up with the idea of creating a character that can be used for a children's story. It is a chibi-style lion whom I have named the green lion with a teapot tail. And it is that in the world of fantasy and fable all creation is valid. Our lion is sitting with his feet open and hands forward and with his teapot tail to the sides. The eyes stand out for their tenderness and in terms of color I have taken some shades of green. Hope you like.

¡Saludos mi gente creativa! Un abrazo a todos, Espero que la estén pasando bien. Hoy se me ocurrió la idea de crear un personaje que puede ser usado para un cuento infantil. Se trata de un león al estilo chibi a quien he bautizado como el león verde con cola de tetera. Y es que en el mundo de la fantasía y la fábula toda creación es válida. Nuestro león está sentado de pies abiertos y manos hacia adelante y con la cola de tetera hacia los lados. Los ojos destacan por su ternura y en cuanto al color he tomado unos matices de verde. Espero que les guste.
PASO A PASO/ STEP TO STEP
Paso 1 (Boceto y Line arte) / Step 1 (Sketch and Line art)
Primero trace el boceto de nuestro león sentado. Luego empecé a darle el delineado, y para el pelaje de la cabeza use óvalos alineados alrededor del centro de la cabeza, Después aumente el grosor del trazado en algunos lugares estilo chibi. Seleccione todo y segmente con la herramienta forma para tener listo el line art.
First trace the sketch of our sitting lion. Then I started to outline it, and for the fur on the head I used ovals aligned around the center of the head, then thickened the stroke in some places chibi style. Select everything and segment with the shape tool to get the line art ready.
Paso 2 (Color) / Step 2 (Colour)
Empecé a colorear empezando por la cara, luego el pelaje y por último el cuerpo, patas, brazos y la cola con la tetera. Despues empecé a trabajar el tema de las sombras y zonas de luces.
I started coloring starting with the face, then the fur and finally the body, legs, arms and the tail with the teapot. Then I started working on the issue of shadows and areas of light.
Arte Final/ Final Art
Para culminar dibuje algunos detalles en los ojos mejillas y tetera, y luego dibuje un fondo naranja. Espero que les guste.
To finish off, draw some details on the eyes, cheeks, and teapot, and then draw an orange background. Hope you like.
