World of Warcraft: Dragonflight — patch 10.0.7 has released!

Although I haven't written about it in a couple of months, my partner and I and our little group are still playing World of Warcraft each night, pursuing progression in mythic+ dungeons.

At the moment we've kind of hit a wall. We can complete level 20 Mythics, but not in time. We can time level 19, mostly, but each week we hope that a couple of us get keys to Shadowmoon Burial Grounds and Court of Stars because they're the easiest dungeons for us that we'll definitely complete in time.

The patch that was released today — 10.0.7 — is important because it adds a couple of new things to the current expansion, and greatly improves my partner's Protection Paladin. He's been very eagerly looking forward to this update. 😅

Nothing changes for my Fury Warrior, there's not one, single patchnote for the class, but Warriors are in a good place right now so it doesn't bother me.

For me though, in this patch, I've been looking forward to having a bit more content to complete. Today we got given a questline to obtain some faction armour, a questline to do some more things in the Ohn'ahren Plains, a new faction to grind reputation with, and also this thing called Zskera Vaults.

For elitists, the Vault will be the most important thing because we can unlock a spiffy ring in it and imbue it with powerful stones. Yes, I'll be working on it, but for me it's not the most "important" thing. I enjoy a good rep grind, and I enjoy new transmogs, so the first thing I did was zoom off to Stormwind so I could get to work on the new faction armour set I could get.

In order to get the faction armour, I had to complete a quest chain which involved learning a few things about the past. It involved the Defias and Vanessa VanCleef, an enemy I thought was long dead but who was apparently working in secret for Stormwind's intelligence forces.

Apparently there was an amulet that Onyxia had that could control people, and that was causing a little bit of chaos. My little warrior helped resolved the issue and was rewarded with a parade through the city and some nice armour! I've tried to make my own Stormwind transmogs, but it's nice to have a proper one now.

Although... it looked better when Blizzard was talking about it. Looks terrible on my character. Here are some screenshots from the Transmogrifier. The first two are my own creations, the last one is the new set I just obtained.

I definitely like my first one best.

I didn't find the new questline in the Ohn'ahren Plains particularly interesting. But I got an achievement out of it, so woo.

Next on my list, before attending the main event of this patch, was to check out the new reputation I'd be able to grind.

WoWScrnShot_032223_105348.jpg

From first glance, it appears that I need to kill a bunch of things and farm up a bunch of stuff from those things in order to learn the language of my new soon-to-be friends. So I got to work, mindlessly killing things, until I could hand in quite a few of these relics to get the required reputation to progress further.

WoWScrnShot_032223_105919.jpg

Seems like it might be a bit of a slow grind — each time I handed in 5 relics, I redeemed one point of language knowledge. I'm not sure how many points of knowledge I'm going to need before I can actually speak with these new furbolgs and start doing quests for them. Thankfully the relics seem to drop reasonably often and the mobs they drop off respawn at a decent rate.

I ended up getting my language knowledge up to 10 (50 relics handed in) and decided to do the rest a bit later when there weren't so many people around, and then checked out the main meat of the patch: Zskera Vaults.

Zskera Vaults is located in the Forbidden Reach, a new zone, and there are more Dragonriding Races and everything here for me to do! It was a great struggle to just focus on this one thing I'm meant to be doing. I can do the races later. 😅

I focused on getting the ring that will soon become my new most powerful artifact, then started investigating the Isles.

This entire place reminds me of the Timeless Isles in Mists of Pandaria.

There are rares all over the place, we can get Bind on Account gear for alt characters, and, of course, there's the vault of treasure to dig through.

You need to kill the rares and generally just do stuff in this zone in order to acquire Keys so you can unlock the doors inside of the Vault. There are all sorts of treasures in the Vault like pets, gold, and magic rocks that are used to imbue the new ring you found!

It really doesn't take long to go through the Vault and get all the things. I only have about five more doors left to unlock, have found the three stones recommended for my Fury Warrior, and have upgraded them to the current max level of 424. Which was incredibly easy. Much easier than I thought it would be.

I'm only continuing on with the rest of the vault so I can finish my new mammoth mount from an egg we upgrade throughout the vault experience, and just because I need to open those doors, haha!

I'm fairly chuffed that I have a new "Timeless Isles" to waste my time in and gather loot for classes I'll probably never play. xD Back in Mists of Pandaria, my bank was full of this stuff, just sitting there at the ready for a new character.

I have a feeling that's going to happen again, haha.

For now though, it's time to return to the new reputation grind and see what these new winter furbolg guys can give me. 😊

Until next time! 🔥🐲

Wow is a great game talked about by many, and each one describes it as something magical, how personal note is tremendous vice that my partner was also undefeated, reading your post gave me memories of that moment in which he fell into the temptation of wow and also better understand what I said about the game, thankss kaelci<3

Some people definitely need to regulate themselves when it comes to WoW and other MMORPGs 🙂 it's a game that has left its mark on many people!

It doesn't. 😅 That's the great thing about MMO's — they're eternal, constantly updated, forever, until interest wanes and they decide to unplug the servers.

They have taken care to make the game more and more entertaining. Thank heavens, for the benefit of their players.
That attention is always appreciated. I hope it lasts many more years.
The same happens with my Warframe, but they update so much that it doesn't give me time sometimes to be up to date.
