Respect for Teachers - A Cultural Legacy Worth Preserving
Hi everyone,
It's me again with another blog for everyone. I am going to meet one of my teachers soon and so I am writing a blog on teachers today.
I have studied in a Madarsa and there we were taught more about the religion, later I completed my BA and learnt English as well.
When I got married, my husband who studied in a School and University told me how students have no respect for the teachers there.
Not everyone but a lot of students even abuse teachers on their back, I then told him that I can never think of doing that.
No matter what the teacher does to us, how much he/she scolds us. We can never abuse them in our dream.
We were taught to give respect to the teachers and I know even in School this is the same, It is just that they did not practiced this and we bring this in practice.
Irrespective of whether you are from a Gurukul, Madarsa, or a modern school make sure that you always give love and respect to the teachers.
Teach your kids, the new generation to give respect to their teachers. Majority of their upbringing is done by you and not the school.
School is for pursuing education, for learning good manners the responsibility are on the parents only.
The Indian culture teaches us to respect our elders and teachers specially and we are not doing it then we are not only going against the religious but also the cultural teachings of our country.
Don't let it die, It is one of the beauty of our country where we give so much respect to a elder person irrespective of whether he / she belongs to our family.
