Club Aliga - partly abandoned
A couple of days ago I went to a place on the shores of Lake Balaton that once was used only by the political elite of Hungary, before 1990. Currently, you can get into the area for a small amount, and that’s also a very positive thing because the water quality is perhaps the best here. A small part of it is well-kept, with beautiful lawns and trees, but in a larger area there are abandoned, spooky buildings that were once equipped with all luxuries.
A meeting of two worlds where it is a strange feeling to roam. It also makes a person curious, but also scary. I hope to get there for some urbex photo shoot before it is locked away from ordinary people again.
Nature is slowly recapturing what man has taken. At least until the planned construction starts again.
